@TheDutchWesley OpenADSB’s default data source is #ADSBexchange. Until earlier this year ADS-B Exchange ran on Virtual Radar Server, but has since switched to tar1090. tar1090 offers many advantages over VRS including scalability and performance. The VRS interface is no longer offered by ADSBx.

@martijnwit Hex code search has been restored in the latest update (version 1.6.3).
Unfortunately dump1090 and tar1090 doesn't contain the aircraft serial number.
The latest version of OpenADSB already supports tar1090 - simply long-press the Settings button (gear) and select “ADS-B Exchange tar1090”. Give it a try especially if VRS is running slow.
As usual, feedback and bugs reports are much appreciated.
@rdonselaar OpenADSB is still using ADSB Exchange's older VRS (Virtual Radar Server) interface. ADSBx's VRS doesn't appear to contain MLAT traffic, which might explain its missing aircraft. I'll be adding tar1090 support soon, which will match what you see on ADSB Exchange's web interface.
New in OpenADSB 1.4.4 - Track highlight marks on the selection dialog. Displays EMER, MIL, INT, VFR and MLAT as highlighted text for tracks that are emergency, military, interesting, VFR and multilateration when a track is selected. Fully configurable in Settings.
@TheSnoopySnoop@madgumbo@freedar_uk Note that OpenADSB connects to any Virtual Radar Server including freedar_uk. To add a new source go to Settings (gear icon) - Track Source - Edit, then +. For freedar_uk enter https://t.co/jFZA2hSsvx as the host. Long-press the gear icon to quickly switch sources.
@Herb2016 OpenADSB can connect to any VRS, dump1090 and ModeSMixer2 server. Out of the box OpenADSB gets its air traffic from @ADSB_Exchange (https://t.co/NF6R7JiGA2), which is feed by volunteer feeders. It's possible that its coverage isn't the same as 360Radar.
@OliverHay10 ADSB Exchange was down for a bit (the default data provider for OpenADSB). Everything is back to normal now. Thanks @ADSBExchange for the quick response.
@richiedaly Selection properties are configurable. Go to Settings (gear) - Selection Properties then "+". Look for "From airport name" and "To airport name". Properties can be added, removed and reordered.
@AD_Foster@avgeekretweeter OpenADSB is a generic flight tracking mobile app that can connect to a variety of data sources - VRS, dump1090 and ModeSMixer2. Out of the box it's preconfigured to use ADSBexchange. It will show the same air traffic as https://t.co/toVsE37e5a, but in a mobile optimized app.
