@lisyarus This is super cool and clean! The repulsion idea works really well here.
For the steady state, you could inject some low-frequency noise into the velocity field or randomly vary particle lifetimes to keep the system evolving π
Having users across nearly every major continent has shown us the depth of talent worldwide. With 001 video playback now in beta and ODK Android building on the way, opening our first office in Antarctica felt like the next step.
Thanks to everyone for making this possible!
@Phuji38 Loving the koi fish lake! Would be nice if they occasionally jumped out of the water for a change.
But everything looks so well put together already haha, very nice!
@Yudou Butter smooth animation and camera movement π! Feels kinda floaty though, is it intended? I'd consider increasing the gravity a tad to make it feel more responsive.
#OpenDevKit subscriptions now include #001GameCreator beta access, feature voting, and requests. Built on years of community feedback, with over a hundred feature requests completed and many more improvements delivered over time!
Patreon tiers have also been simplified to match this new focus.

A new version of #OpenDevKit is live, featuring a new script debugger, and plenty of under-the-hood polish. Stability, scripting behavior, and editor workflows have all seen meaningful quality-of-life improvements.
@yes_i_do_pixels This is such a balanced well-put area, don't know how else to describe it. I especially love the shading you use! Very impressive π

@Almear_tale Big fan of those little details. They add up and they're what make a game's world feel more alive and immersive. Keep adding more, visual and auditory π
That is just stunning! I thought as I was scrolling past that it was Child of Light for a moment until I got a closer look. I'm assuming it was a major influence?
