🤯 just received this super TINY printing press from @openpressproj . JUST big enough for a little stamp. The printing community was inspired by our love of tiny images, and did a contest for 2x2cm prints, now they have a smaller press available 🤗. Gotta get my master engraver @JerritHartwich on the phone, I need to order some small plates. #philately #printingpress
#StudentWork "Exhibition of Tiny Prints" – It all started with a tiny 3D-printed printing press, which began as an Intermediate project in 2018 and has evolved into a company and a worldwide community of printmakers. Now KISDstudent Martin Schneider created the first...

Summer is waning around here: this is my last Thursday before this becomes my Very Long Day, with both the #ttrpg actual play course & #Austen game grad seminar.
I’ll break from syllabi (& printing presses) to take notes in 45 minutes. #CriticalRoleSpoilers kept to this thread.
@sandiegowebhead Local libraries are probably your best option if you don't know someone in a university or school with 3D-printers. You could always get yourself a printer for like $200, might actually be cheaper than some 3D-printing services. Or order a press on our website!
@MorleyKert Love this! We tried something similar and thought about manufacturing fonts for people using our lasercutter or 3D printers, but we'd need a lot of hours of printing/cutting for just one set. Super fun for embossing a name or short text, though. Awesome case, too!
@TomCollinsAndCo Here's another print from a resin printed plate. Similar to preparing a photo for screenprinting, we rasterized an image. The grooves are around 0.025 and 0.05mm deep, an FFF printer would not be able to reach this level of detail.
@TomCollinsAndCo Thanks for being interested! We showed some photos of 3D printed plates in our ebook. Relief printing is easy, but intaglio is tricky. We had good success with resin printed plates where we converted a black and white heightmap into a plate https://t.co/2bnRDgQfSn
@MattStultz@JRansomWright@make Oh wow, how did I miss this tweet? Thanks so much for your feedback back then, Matt! Also, we have some experience with letterpress printing as well if you still have questions!
Printing one of the rarest postage stamps in the world! Using a printing press, printed in a 3D printer! How cool is that?! Thanks @exploringstamps for the inspiration and for introducing me to this ancient and almost forgotten printing technique.

@mary_rarehare Hey! Sorry, I was travelling for the past week. But I'm back now, if you send me an email to [email protected] with your order number or full name I can check. We still sell them!
