Our first #Revit add-in allows users to batch load our shared parameters quickly. Did we mention we are looking for beta testers?

@StewartGH1970@liccle_em @avelezsosa @tsolsen@Nicklas_Oest@OpenRFA @avelezsosa We exchanged messages on LinkedIn in 2017 discussing a standard set of shared parameters and IFC mapping table. Please reach out if you're interested in working together on this. Lots of improvements on the 2019 roadmap including a REST API: https://t.co/AdoDybx1Ap
@bondbryanBIM @Sergej_Muhic @GameChangist@geometrygym@OpenRFA@Mel_BIM@owensharp@jonmirtschin @UKBIMAlliance @buildingSMARTIn I acutally applaud private entities creating their own open standards.
I actually think it the most efficient way to create standards in some circumstances.
Throw it out there. See what sticks. Reiterate.
@bondbryanBIM @Mel_BIM@owensharp@jonmirtschin I’m not exactly arguing Rob but stay tuned, @OpenRFA is a starting point. Rebranding and widening the focus is being discussed.
if you're past the same old do's and don't of BIM content, have you considered our sister event @BuildConSum? Dedicated to sharing knowledge on #BIM content, #data standardization, #collaboration, and best practices this could be the event for you. https://t.co/4hf9vPJh27
@Revitspace@bimstore Please have any individuals use the signup form here: https://t.co/yQPoBh704i
Looking forward to having @bimstore try out our parameters. We actually sent your team a message last year asking to merge standard shared parameters in an effort to standardize.
@TheDarkAsset@AutodeskRevit We have just opened up our Revit add-in for private beta, however it only uses the OpenRFA parameters. We hope that this encourgaes users to adopt our standard. You would be an ideal addition to our list of beta testers - please join us!

@BIMobject_Ben, great effort here with the style guides, but can we work together to adopt a single set of shared parameters? https://t.co/KH6gk09ITl would like to work with you on standardizing #BIM#data, which all starts with the GUIDs in manufacturer models. https://t.co/xdZSgctHo5
@liccle_em@StewartGH1970@Studio_Bim@GameChangist@theNBS@buildingSMARTIn Great feedback. The Parameter Sets need a lot of work. They were born from the limitation of "groups" in SP files. We merged groups into major disciplines and created parameter sets instead. Perhaps we need additional meta data fields to organize the params (e.g. occupancy type)?
@liccle_em@StewartGH1970@Studio_Bim@GameChangist@theNBS@buildingSMARTIn The Parameter Sets on OpenRFA is rather different. Rather than a param assigned to a single Parameter Set, any parameter can be "tagged" with multiple.
They're not for organizing the data, only the parameters themselves. The goal is to make it easier to load them into #Revit.
