Sep 23: Small-cap weakness was broad. $IWM fell 1.84%; 1,507 of 1,848 tracked stocks declined while 312 advanced. Only 27.2% were above their 20-day average, with 384 new 20-day lows vs 32 highs. The weakness reached far beyond the index headline.
Sep 22: Sector breadth split sharply. Basic Materials had 172 advancers vs 34 decliners; 38.6% were above their 20-day average (+21.0 pp). Energy: 56 vs 140; 15.7% above (-6.6 pp). Rotation, not a broad sector-wide lift.
Sep 21: 78 of 100 tracked $QQQ stocks advanced, but only 47 closed above their 20-day average. A broad up day within this sample, not yet a majority back above the short-term trend.
Quantum rebounded broadly: 11 of 16 current theme members rose in the week ended Sep 18; the median gained 1.9% vs QQQ +0.9%. But only 7 were above Aug 21, with a 4-week median of -2.2%. Hybrid quantum-classical buildout remains early. https://t.co/yGXWQFd2qw
Week ended Sep 18: 9/11 sectors lost 50-day participation; all 11 were below Aug 21. Healthcare and tech held up this week, but index breadth weakened. The Fed raised rates to 3.75%-4.00%. A narrow rotation, not broad repair. https://t.co/Zn9pLEiw5v
Sep 18: Utilities offered little shelter. Of 100 tracked utility stocks with closes on both sessions, 87 fell, 12 rose and 1 was unchanged. A defensive sector label did not translate into positive participation today.
Sep 17: An uneven rebound. $QQQ +1.73%, $SPY +1.13%, $IWM +0.53% on the day. Large-cap benchmarks led; small caps participated but lagged. One strong session is not yet a broad trend change.
Sep 16: Weak participation beneath the surface. Of 5,334 tracked stocks with closes on both sessions, 3,268 declined and 1,870 advanced. Decliners led 1.75:1. A broader recovery needs more stocks joining in.
Sep 15: Energy is moving against the breadth trend.
Stocks above their 20-day average:
Energy: 52.0% -> 58.6%
All tracked stocks: 31.5% -> 28.9%
Energy is the only sector above 50%. Strength remains concentrated.
@openswingtradin is a one stop shop for swing traders and has saved me a ton of time finding leading stocks. I can quickly identify leaders in a sector/industry/theme. It helps me identify exchange/index breadth too. Trends in the market are no longer a surprise.

For newer traders it provides a good look at the structure and understanding of the markets you need to develop and for more advanced works as a nice shortcut of concise data
