Heads-up: we’re rotating keys across OpenZcash services as a precaution after a security notice from an infrastructure provider. No sign of misuse so far. Some features may be briefly unavailable.
We never ask for passwords, seed phrases or sign-in codes.
BREAKING: @CoinDesk NOW DOING WHAT @openzcash ALREADY DOES
openzcash has been a fantastic tool to explore, verify, and understand the zcash ecosystem across governance, development, privacy usage, markets, and more
it even has zarvis: a cute little robot that knows everything about zcash:native and can promptly answer all the questions you have with ease
so, if you haven't yet, do yourself a favor and visit openzcash(dot)org right now -- built with a lot of passion by @michael2xl, btw, a long-term zcash contributor
New on OpenZcash: Zcash Pitches & Narratives.
20 ready-to-use pitches, from one sentence to about 30s or 60s, in English, Português and Español. Pick your audience, copy, print and talk.
Need it for a specific moment? Ask Zarvis to write one for you.

Introducing Ongoing Test: A new section on openzcash to help builders connect with testers and make testing guides, community tools, and incentive programs easier to discover.
First up: Crosslink by ShieldedLabs 🛡️
👉 https://t.co/fWekq0UiqY
Explore the testing guide, community-built tools, and a timeline of milestones and payouts.
500 ZEC allocated. 50 ZEC distributed across two rounds, leaving 450 ZEC from the original allocation, based on published payout reports. Rewards follow each round’s rules. Help shape the next layer of Zcash.
Building something that needs testers? We welcome more projects and community testing initiatives.
Private Chat is now live on @openzcash (purpose is to become the support channel of the portal)
How it works:
• Pick a temporary alias. No account, no email, no phone number, no wallet.
• Switch on Nym. Messages are encrypted end to end and travel through the Nym mixnet, mixed with other traffic, so the network sees ciphertext, not conversations.
• One person per chat. Invites last 5 minutes and work once.
• Compare the safety code with your contact. Same numbers on both sides means you're talking to the right person.
• Each conversation uses Olm Double Ratchet, so message keys keep evolving.
• Your messages live in your tab. Leave or reload and the chat is cleared.
What we can read: nothing. Not your words, not your account, because there isn't one.
Want to hide your IP address too? Open the chat through Tor Browser or NymVPN (@harryhalpin).
Experimental pilot. Try it and tell us what breaks.
Our vision for Zcred: participation that funds communities.
Use ZEC to publish proposals, comment and like. ZCG, Coinholders and communities could connect their own treasuries to receive these contributions.
A step toward decentralized DAOs and sub-DAOs on Zcash.
New in /participate: passkeys, emojis, and editable comments with preserved version history.
GitHub proposals now sync automatically, ready for community likes and discussion.
After the verdict, the final snapshot enters the automatic batch anchoring queue via Ironwood, with individual proofs verifiable against the Zcash blockchain.
Participate. Verify. Repeat.
0xramp was approved by ZCG! 🛡️
I left my thanks as michae2xl on @openzcash Participate.

Zcred powers likes and comments. Each community or committee sells credits through its own ZEC wallet, helping discourage spam, encourage thoughtful feedback, and fund community activities.
@openzcash Participate is piloting automated timestamping for eligible new proposals from the official ZCG GitHub repository. Proposal records are preserved for recovery and verification, with cryptographic commitments queued for anchoring on Zcash using Zallet and our full node.
Our roadmap includes extending this model to Coinholder proposals, DAOs and sub-DAOs, allowing communities to configure their own governance rules, dedicated ZEC wallets and Zcred participation policies.
Each receipt connects a record to a Merkle root anchored on Zcash. Changing the saved content breaks the proof.
Download files + receipt in Read & verify. The commitment is on-chain; files must be retained.

Proposals, community feedback and a history you can verify on Zcash.
Participate brings governance and blockchain timestamping into OpenZcash: records grouped into Merkle-tree batches, with downloadable proofs.

Real mainnet evidence: 26 proposal records at the Oct 11 checkpoint, plus a separate pilot batch of 17 comment/like events.
Automatic anchoring covers eligible official-source proposals. New demo proposals, comments and likes stay outside that queue.
