As I reflect on my journey as a third-year electrical engineering and computer sciences (EECS) student at UC Berkeley, I’m reminded of the incredible nonprofit organizations that helped me get here. Four nonprofits in particular stand out—not only for their impact on me personally but for their transformative work in San Francisco.
