🚨 BREAKING: France players reportedly explain the reasons behind their loss to Ivory Coast.
Tensions inside the French camp are said to have emerged after multiple players realised mid-match they were technically being pressed by cousins, uncles, family friends, and at least one man who attended their parents’ wedding.
Kylian Mbappé addressed the defeat after the game.
“It was difficult emotionally,” he explained.
“At one point I dribbled past a defender and my mother texted me asking why I was disrespecting the family.”
Sources say the atmosphere became increasingly complicated as the match progressed.
One French player allegedly stopped a counterattack after recognising the opposition midfielder from a childhood barbecue in Marseille.
Meanwhile, Didier Deschamps rejected suggestions France underestimated Ivory Coast.
“Absolutely not,” he insisted.
“We simply struggled tactically against a team containing several players our scouts originally described as ‘future French internationals.’”
The manager also admitted communication became difficult during heated moments.
“At one point both benches were shouting in French.”
“Even the arguments had accents from Paris.”
Several France players reportedly requested DNA tests at half-time “just to make sure.”
Others are said to have become suspicious after hearing Ivory Coast players use the exact same insults their fathers use during family football matches.
One defender allegedly froze completely after being nutmegged by an opponent who then asked:
“How is your auntie?”
Mbappé later defended the team’s performance.
“People must understand this was not a normal international match,” he explained.
“This was basically a very aggressive family reunion.”

“Don’t buy a car, it’s a depreciating asset.”
Brother, I myself am a depreciating asset. I won’t be here forever. Not everything has to be optimized for returns, some things are just meant to be enjoyed while we’re here.

Iran sent 4 PhDs to the negotiating table in Islamabad. The US sent a real estate developer, a son-in-law, a lawyer, and a general. Iran's Deputy FM has 3 graduate degrees from Kansas, Fordham, and the University of Bern.
Iran's FM has a PhD from the University of Kent and has been negotiating with the West for 30 years. PhD count: Iran 4 — US 0.
I was asked abt Singapore/Malaysia shutting off Strait of Malacca if Iran is able to shut off Hormuz.
Here is why Iran is unique. Iran has long strived self sufficiency. It is energy & food independent. As such, its population will likely not starve in the event it suffers whole scale bombing. It has vast landmass & huge population, so trying to take out the entire country is really hard.
It also has direct rail line from China where it can get continue to get supplies to keep its military production going. It has 2 super powers supporting it that will provide it the intelligence needed to strike adversaries' assets. It has also prepared for the current scenario by putting its missile and drone cities underground & resilient. As such, despite massive bombing campaigns, it is able to keep hitting back. Most countries cannot do this.
If you cut off energy/food shipping to Singapore or Malaysia from Indian Ocean & SCS, these 2 countries cannot last for very long. I don't want to get into their resiliency against long bombing runs, but it would be silly to think that Singaporean citizens would live through daily bombing the way that Iranians are dealing with right now.
Singapore is a country that is deeply dependent on global trade, freedom of movement & international law. As such, it is critical for Singapore to continually support freedom of navigation globally, including through strait of Malacca.
If ships are no longer passing through Strait of Malacca, then Singapore would lose its prominent position as a huge international trading hub. Traffic would not stop, they would simply get diverted.
Again, Iran's current situation is quite unique. Unless other GCC countries can build out pipelines & oil infrastructure not under the threat of Iranian drones & missiles, Iran has significant leverage over ROW just due to its geography & yrs of self sufficiency movement.

TNG Digital has announced that it is the first private employer in Malaysia to offer an additional RON95 petrol subsidy for all employees. Effective 1 April 2026, the initiative extends fuel support beyond the government’s Budi Madani subsidy, with no fixed quota and coverage designed to support typical household fuel usage.
The subsidy is integrated directly into the TNG eWallet via its BUDI95 feature, allowing employees to refuel and manage their subsidy seamlessly without any claims process. The programme covers all employees across its subsidiaries, including contract staff and interns, and is part of the company’s Care+ Initiatives aimed at easing daily commuting costs amid rising living expenses.
In addition to the petrol subsidy, employees continue to benefit from flexible working arrangements, Remote+ (work-from-anywhere arrangements), existing mileage claims for work-related travel, as well as a fixed monthly allowance that covers public transport through My50 passes, which are also accessible within the TNG eWallet.
Chief Executive Officer Alan Ni said, “Our responsibility as a company goes beyond building products for millions of Malaysians. It extends to taking care of the people who build those products every day.” He added that when daily commute becomes a growing concern, companies should step forward and act, with the initiative focused on providing practical and meaningful support.
I KNEW these people were gonna be Malaysian or Singaporean. Lo and behold, rich Malaysians.
This shit shows just how entitled rich M’Sians when it comes to domestic assistance. This is horrible, makes SEAsians look bad, and I hope they go to prison.
Fuck people like this.
