@RideLondon If there is a single lead car limiting the speed, surely all the faster cyclists will just wait for 30 minutes so they have space to go faster and not catch up with the car? Won't this cause more chaos with large groups of fast cyclists coming through the pack of slower ones?

@RideLondon I've heard that there is going to be a lead car in front of the first wave limiting them to 22mph, is this correct? What's stopping people in later waves cycling faster, as surely the car only limits the riders who start first and are stuck behind it?
