@BarclayCard18 I think for some reason he's lost his clutchness which seems to be the main reason for his losses in 2026. True, his baseline game has regressed a bit but in both losses he just needed 1 or 2 points to make a difference. Used to win them in the past, so it's more mental imo
@TheTennisLetter I reckon Jarry was not able to identify source of contamination, in all likeliness this is why he was told not to appeal and pleaded guilty. If he had been able to find the source like Jannik he could have appealed and his suspension lifted. NO PREFERENTIAL TREATMENT FOR SINNER
@S1NNERPROP Jarry said in an interview that he resented the " leniency " (his words) showed by the authorities towards Jan/Iga when he himself was banned for 11 months due to contamination. All cases are obviously different but Jarry took it bad so he had an extra motivation to beat Sinner
@iStayWinning711@Olly_Tennis_ Overall the road to victory for Sinner is way tougher than say, Novak 20-23 but it's within reach if Meddy, Zverev or Alcaraz don't go God's mode.
@iStayWinning711@Olly_Tennis_ True, Rune is always dangerous, so is Berrettini and maybe Cobolli on a great day. Also, early rounds are always delicate to navigate, this is why upsets happen. Yes, De Minaur is very strong especially playing at home in Australia but he is coming back from injury.
@Djoko_UTD It's been about 20 days since Purcell got notified, and he has opted not to appeal the provisional suspension. Since the player is not appealing, ITIA had to make the case public as per the rules.
