• Suvendu Adhikari
• Dharmapuri Arvind
His name was Rajan.
He was a final year engineering student at the Regional Engineering College in Calicut, Kerala. His father, T V Eachara Varier, was a Hindi professor at the Government Arts and Science College in the same city.
On the morning of March 1 1976 the police came to the college campus and took Rajan away.
India was under Emergency. Civil liberties were suspended. Courts had effectively turned away.
His father found out the next day from the college principal.
He went to every police station in the district. No one admitted to having his son.
He met the Home Minister of Kerala, K Karunakaran, directly.
He sent petitions to the Home Secretary of the Government of Kerala three times. Not a single reply or acknowledgement came.
He wrote to the President of India and the Home Minister of the central government, with copies to every Member of Parliament from Kerala.
Nothing.
What Eachara Varier did not know at the time was that his son had been taken to an illegal police interrogation camp at Kakkayam.
He was tortured.
A practice called uruttal was used, where a heavy wooden log is rolled over the body of the victim.
Rajan died from his injuries. His body was disposed of by the police and was never found.
When the Emergency ended in 1977 Eachara Varier filed a habeas corpus petition in the Kerala High Court.
It was the first such petition filed in Kerala after the Emergency.
He did it without legal training, without political backing, without money.
He had spent everything searching for his son.
The court case slowly unravelled the truth.
It forced K Karunakaran to resign as Chief Minister of Kerala in 1978 when the adverse judgment came.
Rajan’s mother became mentally unstable from the grief. She died in 2000 still not knowing where her son was.
Eachara Varier wrote his memoir, Memories of a Father, which won the Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award in 2004.
In its final lines he wrote, “I don’t close the door. Let the rain lash inside and drench me. Let at least my invisible son know that his father never shut the door.
He died on April 13 2006. He never found his son’s body.
Rajan was picked up from his college campus on a March morning in 1976. He was never seen again.
Repost this. Some stories must not be allowed to disappear.
Today, a video of a woman from Mumbai is going viral in which she is angrily shouting at a BJP leader for blocking the road during a protest, which caused her inconvenience.
And now, everyone - including the left and opposition -is supporting this woman.
But two years ago, when a girl reacted in the same way and got angry at farmers for blocking roads during the farmer protests, the same left-liberals and opposition heavily trolled and mocked her.
In both cases, the situation is the same - so why this double standard?
@sardesairajdeep All this drama for buying time , from day one this talks result is clear . israel is not stoping in lebanan , it is war by iran america n israil lebanon, only two party in talks , how can it be successful
Have you ever wondered why??)
1.After the Congress government left, why has Mumbai not seen the rise of another Haji Mastan, Karim Lala, or Dawood Ibrahim?
2.After the BSP government ended, why was Mayawati not weighed with diamonds, crowns, and bundles of cash on her birthday anymore?
3.After Yogi Ji became CM of UP, why have mafia dons like Atiq Ahmed, Azam Khan, and Mukhtar Ansari stopped emerging?
4.After Modi came, why can’t P. Chidambaram grow cabbages worth ₹6 crores in the flowerpots of his bungalow anymore?
5.Why can’t Supriya Sule cultivate crops worth ₹670 crores on her 10-acre farmland these days?
6.After the Congress lost power in Haryana, why has Robert Vadra stopped buying land there?
7.After losing power in UP, why did Akhilesh Yadav stop organizing the Saifai Mahotsav?
8.After selling a painting to Yes Bank owner Rana Kapoor for ₹2.5 crores, why has Priyanka Gandhi never sold another painting again?
9.After A.K. Antony sold his wife’s painting to the government for ₹28 crores, why has his wife never painted again?
10.During the 10-year rule of the UPA (2004–14), Sonia Gandhi used to travel abroad every six months for treatment of her “unknown” illness. She lived in Delhi, yet her flights always departed from airports in Kerala, carrying 4–5 large trunks with her.
There was never any question of security checks, since she was the “Super PM” of India at that time. But after the change of power in 2014, how did Sonia’s “mysterious illness” suddenly vanish into thin air?
@sardesairajdeep@ECISVEEP So give all the documents to show right to vote. Only election committee is duty bound, what about peoples, don't they have duty to show all documents. TMC is loosing ground
@madhukishwar@intolerantindie Who stops you to convert, do this thing first ,idiot , normal hindus don't require RS seat , and we don't care about any politicians
Mohammed Kamruddin - an illegal occult practitioner who kills his Hindu clients, spares his co-regionists
In 2014, booked for killing Anita Devi in Rajasthan. Complaint was filed by her husband Narayan. Kamruddin was released from jail, shifted to UP
In 2025, chargesheeted for killing Puran Singh and Ramnath Singh in UP’s Firozabad. Got bail from high court
Now, arrested for killing Lakshmi, Randhir Singh and Naresh Singh in UP’s Loni.
Adjoining his house in Loni, he has built a dargah in name of some Kamaal Khan, from where he traps his clients - lot of them ignorant Hindus

Her name is Alison Botha.
After 28 years in prison, her attackers were granted parole. The public outrage was so massive that the government reversed it and sent them back.
On December 18, 1994, Alison Botha was kidnapped outside her apartment in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. Two men raped her, stabbed her 36 times in the abdomen, and slit her throat 17 times.
Her intestines spilled out. Her windpipe was exposed.
They left her for dead. Botha held her head onto her body with one hand and pushed her organs back in with the other.
She crawled to the road, where a veterinary student named Tiaan Eilerd stopped and kept her alive until paramedics arrived.
Her surgeon said he had never seen anyone survive such injuries in 16 years of practice. Both attackers were sentenced to life in prison.
After 28 years, they were paroled in 2023, sparking national outrage. In 2025, the government reversed the decision and sent them back.
Botha became a motivational speaker, author, and mother of two. She has shared her story in over 30 countries.
@SupriyaShrinate All this propoganda was long bust out, there parent support hamas ,it is a result of that. Yes many innocent suffer war but this is unavoidable
A major incident has befallen the retired Colonel of the Pakistani Army, Habib Zahir...
It unfolded something like this:
His wife had just woken up from her afternoon nap when she received a WhatsApp message and a selfie from her husband, stating: "I’ve reached Kathmandu safely; my flight to Lumbini is in a little while!"
A few hours later, another message and selfie arrived: "I’ve reached Lumbini safely!" Shortly thereafter, his phone went dead.
After retiring, Habib had updated his LinkedIn profile to read: "Open to work for the UNO." A few days later, a man named Mark contacted him, explaining: "The UNO requires an individual with a military background for a project in Nepal. It is a high-ranking position with an excellent salary; the UNO will cover all expenses—including housing, a car, and travel." He was told that he would need to travel to Nepal for the interview.
At the appointed time, he was provided with a visa and flight tickets for the Lahore–Oman–Kathmandu route. In Oman, he was handed two mobile phones, a Nepali SIM card, and some Nepali currency; Habib subsequently arrived safely in Lumbini.
Everything went smoothly up to this point; there was just one catch: the Indian border lies merely 5 kilometers away from Lumbini.
The moment Habib sent his message and selfie upon reaching Lumbini, his SIM card was deactivated.
The website where he had been instructed to upload his biodata vanished completely. The phone number belonging to "Mark"—the man with whom he had been communicating—also went dead. Since then, neither Habib nor Mark has been seen or heard from anywhere.
Pakistan has alleged that Habib was abducted by India. The Indian government, however, has categorically denied any involvement in Habib's abduction.
The truly solid twist in this story is this: "Habib Zahir was the very same individual who played a pivotal role in abducting the Indian industrialist Kulbhushan Jadhav from Iran and handing him over to the ISI."
Quite an intriguing tale, isn't it? ...One whose true architect remains an "unknown entity" 😀😀.
Young people have no idea what UPA era was
Here is Dr. Manmohan Singh in 2011
He says food prices are high because we have become richer!
Imagine the mockery if PM Modi said this today
But back then, this was considered greatest economics in the world.
