Thing is in 2015 there was a perfect springboard for things to stay that way.
Everyone independently releasing, blowing up and doing it THEIR way. It was incredibly authentic and the industry were scrambling to make sense of it.
Once the labels came in it killed everything
What Kendrick has done the UK music industry needs that reality check too.
The mission is to uplift our culture, to bring variety to the table but as it stands in the UK, People in the business & the artists are doing/saying ANYTHING for MONEY smh
Poor direction no guidance 👎
We can all defend grime to the hills and say AJ is chatting shit but this is yet another MC who’s come out saying the same thing about the scene and the people in it, definitely sounds like there’s something a bit off that we don’t really know about
@sjake62 Whatever, we’ll just sit and watch the censorship of a black man and see what’s really happening - when it NEVER happens the same way when roles are reversed
Hi @Twitter - Since you recently permanently banned an account of a well known public figure for anti-semitism, I hope your rules also applies to this tweet and the numerous other racist tweets you’ll find on this account - thanks
What? This is a grime account, this is not Wiley, and if you looked at the thread, I wasn’t even condoning the anti-semitism - what are trying to achieve with removing this account? Why are you saying I’m Wiley?
Listen I’m not tryna condone his anti-semitism, but look at the final edit and the way they cut together all the bits to make him look crazy - these clips change the tone of that - whatever you think of him, the bias of the media is so evident to see, their mind was made up
Seems that Sky News conveniently ‘forgot’ to add these bits into the final TV and YouTube edits - not before it was whacked on snapchat tho... make of it what you will
