Please God, please help here. I can't begin to tell you how heartbroken I am about this. This is gut-wrenching.
A young woman full of dreams, bags packed, ticket in hand, finally escaping the nightmare that South Africa has become for so many. She was supposed to board that plane Tuesday, step off in America, breathe free air, start over. Instead, some coward put a bullet through her head on Friday, and now she's fighting for every breath in an ICU, machines doing what her body can't.
This isn't just tragedy. This is evil. The silence from the world is deafening. Where are the headlines? Where is the outrage when it's not the "right" kind of victim?
She's lying there unconscious because the rainbow nation myth has collapsed into blood and denial. Farm murders, hijackings, rapes, and now this; a final, brutal punctuation on a life that was about to escape. How many more have to be shot, tortured, or driven out before anyone cares?
I pray she pulls through. I pray she wakes up, heals, and gets that chance at life in America she was denied. But damn the system, the politicians, and the monsters who make places this possible. This isn't random crime; it's war on the vulnerable.
If you're in South Africa still hoping to leave, fight like hell to get out. Because stories like hers aren't rare; they're the rule now.
Pray hard. Rage harder. And never forget. She's one of ours.

Go support him over on FB and give her a follow and support too. Time for the mullahs is ticking. Women, particularly, have been brutally attacked by the Iranian regime. https://t.co/rYFOrmY0ow
