O Guardian Angel,
sent from the throne of God,
my faithful companion from the cradle of my soul,
stand beside me, always, and every day that follows. Wrap me in the shadow of your wings

Whisper courage into my trembling heart
when fear coils like smoke,

POWERFUL HEALING PRAYER ATTRIBUTED TO SAINT PADRE PIO

Heavenly Father, I thank You for loving me. I thank You for sending Your Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, to the world to save and to set me free. I trust in Your power and grace that sustain and restore me.

Loving Father, touch me now with Your healing hands, for I believe that Your will is for me to be well in mind, body, soul and spirit. Cover me with the most precious blood of Your Son, our Lord, Jesus Christ from the top of my head to the soles of my feet.

Cast out anything that should not be in me. Root out any unhealthy and abnormal cells. Open any blocked arteries or veins and rebuild and replenish any damaged areas. Remove all inflammation and cleanse any infection by the power of Jesus’ precious blood.

Let the fire of Your healing love pass through my entire body to heal and make new any diseased areas so that my body will function the way You created it to function. Touch also my mind and my emotion, even the deepest recesses of my heart.

Saturate my entire being with Your presence, love, joy and peace and draw me ever closer to You every moment of my life. And Father, fill me with Your Holy Spirit and empower me to do Your works so that my life will bring glory and honour to Your holy name.
I ask this in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Today we celebrate the quiet strength of Saint Joseph.

He didn’t preach sermons. He didn’t perform miracles. He didn’t write a single word of Scripture. And yet, he changed the world.

Joseph listened. He trusted. He acted. When God asked him to take Mary as his wife, he said yes. When he was warned in a dream, he got up in the middle of the night and went. No spotlight. No applause. Just faithful obedience.

In a culture that chases noise and recognition, Joseph shows us another way: steady love, hidden sacrifice, courageous fatherhood, and the holiness of ordinary work.

Whether you’re leading a family, building something with your hands, or quietly carrying responsibilities that no one else sees, your faithfulness matters.

St. Joseph, protector of families and patron of workers, pray for us. 🌿

The man who never spoke a word is called the Terror of Demons.

In the entire Bible, St. Joseph never speaks a single word. He is silent but he acts.

He wakes up at midnight to flee to Egypt. He protects the Virgin. He raises the Son of God. His title in the litany is Terror Daemonum (Terror of Demons). Why?

Because Satan fears silence. Satan fears the man who does his duty without complaining, without bragging, and without hesitation. St. Joseph is the model of the interior life. This makes him the perfect spiritual weapon in quiet spiritual combat.

In the age of fatherlessness & impurity we need the spirit of St Joseph more than ever.

Our modern world is plagued by weak men, broken homes & the collapse of fatherhood. St. Joseph is the antidote to the age.

THE NINE SINS OF THE TONGUE🇻🇦

1. THE LYING TONGUE

Lying is one of the things God finds detestable (Proverbs 6:17) and all liars have their place in the lake of fire (Revelation 21:8). You should also note that the devil is the father of lies.

2. THE FLATTERING TONGUE

God hates flattery (Psalm 12:3-4). As believers, we should never praise others because we want to get something from them.

3. THE PROUD TONGUE

A proud/boastful tongue is sinful. Proud believers are full of themselves and learn little from anyone else.God hates a proud tongue. Psalms 12: 3-4 says that God will cut off a proud tongue. Humble yourself when God uplifts you.

4. THE OVERUSED TONGUE

This is simply talking too much. Ecc 5:3 says that many words mark the speech of a fool, while Prov 10: 19 says that the prudent hold their tongues. Ecc 5: 2 cautions us against been too quick to speak. We are advised to be persons of fewer words.

5. THE SWIFT TONGUE

This is talking too quick or being too quick to answer without listening. Proverbs 18:13 says that to answer without listening is folly and shame.
James 1:19 tells us to be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to be angry.

6. THE BACK BITING TONGUE

A sin of the tongue where somebody says good things to your face but says bad and negative things against you when you are not present.

A backbiter is someone who uses their tongue against you when you are absent. Prov 25:23 "The north wind brings forth rain, And a backbiting tongue an angry countenance." In Rom 1:30, the scriptures say that those who practice back biting, among other sins, deserve death. According to Prov 6:19 God hates back biters.

If you are a believer with this habit, you need to change. If you have ever been a victim of back biting, you need to be still and not back bite back; God will fight for you.

7. THE GOSSIPING TONGUE

This is the tale-bearing tongue that's forbidden in Psalm 15:3 and Proverbs 18:8. These people engage in conversations about others, usually involving details that are unconfirmed as being true.

Gossip is such a common sin in Churches today. The devil uses believers as altars to harm others.
God hates a gossiping tongue. Take caution not to spread information against others; you will not only be harming the other person but also injuring your fellowship with God.

8. THE CURSING TONGUE

Romans 3:13 "Their throats are open graves; their tongues practice deceit.” “The poison of vipers is on their lips.” “Their mouths are full of cursing and bitterness.”

God hates cursing tongues and people that curse have no place in the Kingdom.

In your anger and frustrations, do not utter cursing words against the other person.
Rom 12:17,18 says that we should not pay evil with evil. We should strive to maintain peace with all men and never seek to revenge; vengeance belongs to the Lord.

It is not good for pastors to curse their followers after a fall out. Same case applies to parents as far as their children are concerned.

9. THE PIERCING TONGUE

The piercing tongue is sinful as revealed in Proverbs 12:18. While conveying a message to you, these people tend to speak indirectly in reference to something that concerns you. Do not use your tongue indirectly against someone an effort to mock them.

God hates a tongue that pierces others.
James 3: 9 "With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father, and with it we curse human beings, who have been made in God’s likeness."

Jesus entered into a covenant with us at Calvary when he spat the bitter drink; wine mixed with myrrh offered to him. He cleansed and exchanged all the nine sins of the tongue with clean tongues supposed to be used to glorify God.
How do you use your tongue as a believer?

In which of these areas are we guilty? I know I am often guilty. We need to make a deliberate and conscious effort to control our tongue lest it leads us to hell. Allow the Holy Spirit to reign over your tongue today!

ADOPT A DYING SOUL & SAVING UNBORN BABIES🇻🇦❤️‍🔥

Engaging in the daily practice of adopting unknown dying souls is a profound act of mercy and intercession. By offering prayers each morning for five dying souls (known or unknown to you) each hour over a 24-hour period, including asking God to spare unborn babies at risk of abortion, you participate in a spiritual work that transcends the boundaries of life and death.

This week, the passing of three individuals, a revered bishop, a basketball player, and a generous Japanese man who fed your dogs, serves as a poignant reminder of life's fragility and the importance of our prayers for those at the threshold of eternity.

The Catholic tradition emphasizes the significance of praying for the dying. St. James teaches, "He who causeth a sinner to be converted... shall save his own soul from death." By interceding for souls in their final moments, we not only assist them but also work towards our own salvation.

St. Therese of Lisieux offers comfort regarding death: "It is not Death that will come to fetch me, it is the good God. Death is no phantom, no horrible specter, as presented in pictures. In the catechism it is stated that death is the separation of soul and body, that is all! Well, I am not afraid of a separation which will unite me to the good God forever."

By adopting dying souls in prayer, you become a vessel of God's mercy, offering hope and spiritual support to those in their final moments. This practice not only aids the departing souls but also enriches your own spiritual journey, fostering a deeper connection with the divine and a greater appreciation for the sanctity of life.

In this sacred endeavor, you align with the compassionate heart of Christ, who desires that all souls find their way to eternal peace. Your commitment to this daily practice reflects a profound love for humanity and a trust in the transformative power of prayer.

Prayer for Adopting a Dying Soul

✠ Sign of the Cross

By the Most Precious Blood of Jesus and through the holy intercession of Our Lady of Sorrows, I humbly adopt a dying soul today, whether known or unknown to me, from 6 AM to 6 AM the following day (depending on which time you would pray). I beg You, O Lord, to save five souls each hour for 24 hours.

I also lift up unborn babies in danger of abortion. Through Your divine mercy, touch the hearts of their mothers, that at least five children may be spared each hour for the next 24 hours.

Our Lady of Sorrows, visit these dying souls. Comfort them in their final moments and grant them the grace of perfect contrition. If it is Your will, send a priest to administer the sacraments, strengthening them for their journey into eternity.

For those who do not believe, may the graces of mercy, conversion, and salvation flow through the Catholic Church so that, in their last moments, they may be reconciled with God.

Saint Joseph, Patron of a Happy Death, pray for us.

This I ask in Your Holy Name, Lord Jesus, through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Amen.

A Guide to Plenary Indulgences for the All Souls' Octave: November 1-8

Visiting a Cemetery: An indulgence, applicable only to the Souls in Purgatory, is granted to the faithful, who devoutly visit a cemetery and pray, even if only mentally, for the departed. The indulgence is plenary each day from November 1-8; on other days of the year it is a partial indulgence.

Visiting a Church on November 2: A plenary indulgence, applicable only to the souls in purgatory, is granted to the faithful who, on All Souls' Day (or, according to the judgment of the ordinary, on the Sunday preceding or following it, or on the solemnity of All Saints), devoutly visit a church or an oratory and recite an Our Father and the Creed.

Praying for the Faithful Departed: A partial indulgence, applicable only to the souls in purgatory, is granted to the faithful who,

◦devoutly visit a cemetery and at least mentally pray for the dead;

◦devoutly recite lauds or vespers from the Office of the Dead or the prayer Eternal rest. (Manual of Indulgences, fourth edition, 1999)

Indulgence Requirements:

◦To gain a plenary indulgence, in addition to excluding all attachment to sin, even venial sin, it is necessary to perform the indulgent work and fulfill the following three conditions: sacramental Confession, Eucharistic Communion, and prayer for the intention of the Sovereign Pontiff.

◦A single sacramental confession suffices for gaining several plenary indulgences, but Holy Communion must be received and prayer for the intention of the Holy Father must be recited for the gaining of each plenary indulgence.

◦The three conditions may be fulfilled several days before or after the performance of the prescribed work; it is, however, fitting that Communion be received and the prayer for the intention of the Holy Father be said on the same day the work is performed.

◦The condition of praying for the intention of the Holy Father is fully satisfied by reciting one Our Father and one Hail Mary. A plenary indulgence can be acquired only once in the course of the day, a partial indulgence can be acquired multiple times.

◦If a visit to a Church or an oratory is required to obtain an indulgence attached to a particular day, this may be accomplished from noon of the preceding day until midnight of the particular day.

What Happen when you pray the Rosary?

When you pray, Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now….., the Blessed Mother comes instantly to your side to pray with you. And she does not come alone. She brings Angels with her. And not just one or two for she is the Queen of Angels, so choirs of angels come with her. And, she and Jesus are joined at the heart and can not be separated, so she brings Jesus with her. And Jesus can not be separated from the Trinity, so He brings the Father and the Holy Spirit with Him. And where the Holy Trinity is all of creation is and you are surrounded by such beauty and light as you cannot imagine in this life. Your Mother comes as Our Lady of Grace with her hands out-stretched. Rays of light emit from her hands piercing your body, healing you and filling you with graces. This is your inheritance which was poured out from the heart of Jesus on the Cross, when the centurion pierced His Heart with the spear, into the only pure vessel ready to receive such graces at that time,Your Mother. Now, as you pray the Rosary, or even just recite one Hail Mary, you receive your portion of these graces.”He also said at this time, “Anyone who goes to Mary and prays the Rosary can not be touched by Satan.”
