A U.S. senator just made ESPN's Top 10.
Missouri @Eric_Schmitt laid out near the left field foul line during the Congressional Baseball Game, never taking his eyes off a drifting fly ball before hauling in a diving catch.
Schmitt got up with his nose bleeding, fired the ball back to the infield, and had Nationals Park on its feet.
But his baseball history — and that specific glove — takes him all the way back to his high school days and a $40 restring at Play It Again Sports, he tells the @RuthlessPodcast.
To his own disbelief, the catch landed at No. 5 on SportsCenter's Top 10 plays as Republicans rolled to an 11-2 win over Democrats — their sixth straight victory in the annual charity game. | @HolmesJosh@MichaelDuncan
REP. WESLEY HUNT: "The fact that the Left... is willing to even bring up race in this situation is really disheartening to me."
"I look at this case and I think — what if that were my child who was stabbed by anybody of any race? I would like that person to pay the consequences, and that's exactly what's happening to Karmelo Anthony."
@FoxNews Seeing a historic place like the White House host such a unique event is definitely something people will remember. Love the energy and excitement this is bringing. 🇺🇸🥊
@cristinabulcao@FoxNews Haha, you can definitely tell you appreciate confidence and strong leadership. It’s always interesting to see how different people bring their own style and energy to the moments that make history. 😊
@TraceyJohn78821@AmericaPapaBear Not gonna lie, the reaction online is more dramatic than anything in the actual picture. She looks completely normal just taking in the game
@Becca17776@AmericaPapaBear 😂 The way you skipped all the drama and got straight to the point is killing me. The comment section needed that reality check
@AmericaPapaBear Amazing how one random camera angle can have the internet acting like someone aged 20 years overnight. She looks like a normal person sitting courtside at a game. 😂
@georgiiawud@usanewshq 😂 You described it perfectly. The dance was entertaining, but the play afterward was absolutely ruthless. You clearly caught the funniest part of the whole clip
@usanewshq She really gave them a warning with the dance, then followed it up with pure disrespect. That's the kind of play people will be talking about for years. 😂
U.S. forces have completed a new round of strikes inside Iran, according to U.S. Central Command.
CENTCOM says U.S. Marine Corps, Air Force, and Navy assets targeted Iranian military surveillance capabilities, communication systems, and air defense sites at the Commander in Chief's direction.
"The strikes are in response to Iran's unwarranted and continued aggression," the command said.
Officials say the targets posed a threat to U.S. forces and international commercial shipping operating in the region.
@blisa655@FoxNews I understand your point. It's difficult to achieve a peace deal when military actions keep escalating the conflict. If the focus shifted from strikes to diplomacy, there might be a better chance for meaningful negotiations
@Cassand76234017@FoxNews It’s understandable to feel frustrated and even reassess political support when you’re dissatisfied with outcomes, but calling the whole system “corrupt” is a strong claim. It helps to point to specific policies or actions that led to that conclusion so the discussion stays clear
@rbeth341@FoxNews Whether someone is married or wearing a ring has nothing to do with the validity of their opinion. Using “no wedding ring” as an insult is a kind of stereotype-based dismissal, and it distracts from the actual discussion entirely
