We are calling on all #Rohingya to take one simple but powerful action: Send a letter to the government of #Bangladesh.
This letter demands:
-Investigation into threats and intimidation inside the camps
-Protection for those who speak out

At least 250 people, including many women and children, are feared missing after a boat carrying Rohingya refugees and Bangladeshi nationals capsized in the Andaman Sea.

I really can’t believe that my Rohingya brother, Mohammad Ullah, is among the recent victims of human trafficking and one of the 250 people currently missing.
As young people grow frustrated and lose hope for repatriation, even educated individuals like Mohammed Ullah are taking this risky journey to Malaysia.
The Myanmar military is highly skilled in public psychological warfare. While it continues aerial bombings, killings, and sexual violence across the country, including in Rakhine State, many people who are oppressed by the military are now taking the military’s side in the Gambia v. Myanmar - Rohingya genocide case at the @CIJ_ICJ.
Military propaganda claims that the case is not against the military, but against the country as a whole, and that everyone will suffer if The Gambia wins. As a result, many people now support the military, even though the military continues to kill civilians across the country.
I wish the head of Myanmar’s legal team, Christopher Staker, would show basic respect for the right to self-identification. He continues to refer to the Rohingya as “Bengalis,” which is beyond disgusting. His decision to defend the Myanmar military criminals, who committed the genocide, is part of his professional record.
As of now, the AA is following the same pattern, settling its own people and building villages on Rohingya land.
Since the beginning of last year, the injustices, abuses and crimes committed by the AA against the Rohingya have been countless. 3/3
In the post-1990 period, the Nasaka (Border Administration Force), formed under the leadership of General Khin Nyunt, confiscated Rohingya lands and established Natala villages on them, populating these settlements with convicts brought from central Myanmar. 2/3
Although the Myanmar military is the enemy of the Arakan Army (AA), the military’s genocide against the Rohingya — and its practice of forcibly confiscating Rohingya land to redistribute to its own people — appears to have become a model for the AA. 1/3
URGENT Humanitarian Assistance Needed!
Almost 200,000 Rohingya have been displaced in Buthidaung Township alone, with thousands more in Maungdaw Township.
They all need URGENT humanitarian assistance. If they don't receive it soon, there will be another crisis.
But we all love you and we are out there I promise you.
Just wanted to stop by and remind you to up your local rebels and give blessings to the peacemaker’s.
At the end of the day we are and always were just regular people with a fire in our guts trying to do our part in stopping genocides and other injustices on our shared earth. We were really stronger together behind these masks we ripped off from a cool movie.
