@sascampaigns@surfability The final session of the day seen Maggy Blagrove from Open Minds Active & James Mallows and Sam Davies from @opsurfwell talk about social prescribing through blue health!
Two amazing examples of how blue health interventions are supporting the health of communities ๐๐
@ScotlandYardCSI Such tragic incidents and all the more closer to home when you have that type of connection.
Thanks for all you do to raise awareness.
Thanks for sharing @ScotlandYardCSI Weโve been shocked at the scale of suicidal thoughts, intent, and ideation. There is a lack of understanding of the issues surrounding suicide in emergency services - such an important issue.
One day to go...
Tomorrow we will launch our updated ZSA #SuicideAwareness Training ๐
We shared a preview at our webinars today and now we're sharing with you too!
Keep an eye out for our ZSA member communication and updates on our website and social media tomorrow!

Super excited for this event!
Weโre also now about to become more active on social media after a (long!!) period of background work to get things going under the new structure
Thanks for bearing with us. Look forward to updating about how weโve been growing ๐

@DC_Police As a way of helping support delivery to the blue light sector who are able to (and have been for a few months!!!) continue to access the programme.
Thanks for bearing with us - check out the website for more detail and weโll be bringing more updates soon
Thanks ๐
Hey both - thanks for taking an interest ( and for supporting us @_IanAdams!! ) weโre still here, and actually expanding even more. Weโve deliberately gone a bit quiet as lots going on behind the scenes to build our foundations in a new structure. โฆโฆ
My understanding is that sadly the funding for @opsurfwell was withdrawn by the previous DCP Chief Constable and as a result it has evolved into a business using surf therapy to help people across many different professions.
Itโs the same great concept, but funded differently, and more accessible to people & organisations outside of public services.
Iโll stand corrected if Iโve got it wrong.
We now operate in association with @DC_Police and must apologise for not putting a more comprehensive external media update out.
Our website has been fully updated with our new branding and explains the structure - which now includes delivery to private and corporate clients
