They're at their breaking point? Who is spending the 7.2 billion that onlyfans does in gross revenue? Who is spending the 5 billion in prediction markets? 55 billion in home food delivery like doordash, who is spending that money? 40 billion in concert tickets, who's going? 28 billion in Starbucks, who is buying all that overpriced coffee? When these industries are struggling I'll believe people are reaching a breaking point. Not even close right now.
@HardMoneyHodl@FinancialPhys@dantypo Yes, items do get cheaper, but that deflation affects everything, including wages. My point is to show that simply pointing to gold prices and saying the minimum wage should be over $200 an hour now is asinine
@FinancialPhys@dantypo a dozen eggs in 1971 was 45 cents. 45 cents in 1971 bought 0.34 grams of gold. 0.34 grams of gold at today's price is $51. So by your junk reasoning we should all be paying $51 per dozen eggs.
@FinancialPhys Abstaining from a vote, becomes a vote, if that abstention causes a result. If enough sensible people abstain, and it ushers in left wing/communist rule, abstaining becomes the same as voting left.
@FinancialPhys@UpstandingMembr@Jesse4Bernie@MetamateDaz@grok If you use the same stupid stupid stupid reasoning you keep publicly using, a plain hamburger at McDonald's should be 39 dollars today. Is a plain hamburger at McDonald's $39? No? Maybe cause this is nonsense.
@benjamincowen Oh, he posted a distasteful picture? Well that's the last straw! Bring in Harris! Time to open the border and castrate the children! We can't have distasteful pictures!
They had the easiest path to wealth of any generation in world history. They incurred all the benefit of a 40 trillion dollar debt and will leave the rest of us to pay the bill through higher taxes from now until infinity. Everyone is drowning under inflation, they're not, their social security is adjusted for inflation. Everyone is drowning in health insurance costs, they're not, they have Medicare. They are by far the richest generation in the world and the struggling younger generations are paying Medicare and social security out of their paychecks and that money goes straight to benefit the boomers. So the poorest generations are working to benefit the richest, that's feudalism. The worst part is that the boomers feel they earned all this. They earned nothing. They were such a large voting block that politicians have been bending every law in their favor their entire adult lives. They played the entire game on easy mode.
@Truecrypto@CryptoKaleo I don't understand why more people don't get this. It's a 2 party system. If you don't get one you get the other. You can't just be anti trump, you have to believe Harris was a better option, which is hard to defend.
If $STRC can hold it's peg at 100, and if it can reliably pay it's distributions, and if it gets tokenized with all the other securities on the market, then tokenized STRC shares become a USD stablecoin that pays a significant dividend and is not limited by the the Clarity Act.
