@beyondloganc @drgenevievers @emfundertaker Yes. The legislature is really unpredictable. We can be hopeful that procedural things can slow it down, but if this is what Arch and company choose to value, and people vote like today, it is very real.

@beyondloganc @drgenevievers @emfundertaker The budget is required--the state can't function, they can't get paid, and so on if not. So hopefully with the natural contentiousness of that plus the filibuster most of April will be gone.

Then, the speaker will have to decide what bills really matter for the end of session.

@Huskerteer I just think that changing bus pickups could at least open the door for more kids to participate and would be a step in the right direction. Adding a stop at Miller Park, for example, wouldn't even require an extra bus, just saving some space on one of the others!

With no bus pickups in North Omaha and only three of nine weeks with a spot in South Omaha, West Omaha dominance is almost guaranteed. 9 of 9 weeks have W Omaha pickups. There are more weeks of Saddlebrook & Common Ground pickups than N and S Omaha combined.

You can't make this up. The Department of Education estimates it will cost $99,900,900 to operate the application for student debt cancelation. They would literally rather spend $100M on means-testing than just canceling the debt automatically.

I wish I could make people understand the fear and pain that goes along with every flare up of a chronic illness. From mourning the things you’ll miss and never get back (my last two days of summer this time) to planning for thirty different near figures bc no idea what’s next

@emfundertaker I have so many questions about this "unless out of phone range for 2 hours." Does she have to notify the city before she goes hiking in a national park? What if Estes Park is suddenly full of tourists and her data plan doesn't work? What if her cruise ship loses wifi?
