A prepared mind cannot.

The worst part of a glitch or postponement is not the new date.
It is sitting with a prepared mind that now has nowhere to put the adrenaline.

A retest can reset a paper.
It cannot reset the week the student already spent destroying themselves to be ready on the original date.

And perhaps the bigger question: how will the results be fairly compared?
One group wrote one paper today. Another group will write a different paper a week later, under completely different circumstances.
The technical glitch may last a few hours. Its consequences will last much longer.
#NEETPG aspirants deserve a fair solution, not just a retest.
