There was never a sovereign Arab state called “Palestine.” The British Mandate was a colonial administration, not an Arab homeland. Before that, the region was ruled by the Ottoman Empire, and for centuries, Jews lived there—including in Jerusalem, Hebron, Safed, and Tiberias.

Tel Aviv? Built from scratch by Jews on legally purchased land. The Jewish state? Offered peace, but the Arab world chose war, launching a campaign of genocide against Jews instead of accepting the UN partition plan.

The real ethnic cleansing? The mass expulsion of Jews from Arab countries—nearly a million Jewish refugees forced to flee while the Arab world played the victim.
