🚨The 2026 Diesel Emissions Reduction Act (DERA) Grant Program is OPEN! 🚨This is a great time for municipalities to evaluate their HD fleet vehicles (MY2010 or older) like dump trucks, snow plows & refuse trucks and replace with new vehicles equipped with the Optimus System.

[Sustainable Energy Strategies, Inc. @inc_sustainable]

The Maryland Soybean Board, along with @perduefarms and @optimuspgh announce the deployment of six trucks powered by 100% biodiesel (B100) to transport chicken across the Mid-Atlantic region. @inc_sustainable was proud to be part of the event.

[Clean Fuels Alliance America @CleanFuelsAA]

This week, @FriedRide and Paul Houf stopped by @optimuspgh on their way to @PaSoybean's Penn State Extension Research Tour and Board Meeting to see how advancements in feedstocks and technology are allowing fleets to make the switch to 100% biodiesel.

Our members and industry partners work together to drive innovation and grow demand for #cleanfuels, supporting domestic energy production and opportunities across the entire value chain. #connectedenergy

Optimus Common Misconception

“Switching to B100 requires massive infrastructure changes.”

Not true. The Vector System is a bolt-on upgrade to new or existing Class 8 diesel trucks, and fueling is as simple as adding a new pump at the station.

No overhauls. No disruptions. Just proven decarbonization today.

Want a free fleet evaluation?
Fill out the form below and our team will reach out to share how your new or existing trucks can run on 100% biodiesel (B100)

Did you know?

Biodiesel is made from renewable resources like soybean oil and recycled cooking grease.

That means running on B100 doesn’t just cut emissions — it also supports farmers, rural communities, and circular economies.
Cleaner air + stronger economy = a win for everyone.

Do you see renewable fuels as a bigger win for sustainability or for the economy?

Optimus Common Misconceptions

“Renewable diesel is cheaper than biodiesel since it doesn’t require truck modifications.”

Not quite. While renewable diesel can run in existing trucks without modification, the reality is:
💲 It’s usually $1.50–$2.00 more per gallon than biodiesel.
🌎 It’s extremely limited outside of California and Oregon, making it nearly impossible to scale nationwide.

That means fleets often end up paying far more for fuel, and still face availability challenges.

With Optimus’ Vector System, fleets make a one-time investment and then save over the long run by running on affordable, widely available B100 — while cutting up to 95% of carbon emissions.

Do you think cost or availability is the bigger barrier for renewable fuels?

Optimus Common Misconception

"Biodiesel clogs engines and causes downtime.”

That may have been true decades ago, but modern biodiesel is ASTM-certified and proven reliable. Optimus Technologies, Inc. Vector-equipped fleets have logged over 135 million miles of real-world operation without the myths coming true.

The results speak for themselves.
Have you seen biodiesel run successfully in heavy-duty fleets?

[Optimus Technologies @optimuspgh]

Did you know?

Fleets using Optimus Technologies, Inc. Vector System on B100 cut up to 95% of CO₂ emissions immediately.

No waiting on electrification. No hydrogen infrastructure needed. Just proven technology for real decarbonization today.

If you’re looking to take carbon out of your lanes right now, B100 is the lowest-cost, most practical option.

What’s stopping fleets from adopting real solutions today?

Optimus Common Misconceptions

“The Optimus Vector System voids your warranty.”

This is one of the biggest myths we hear about the Vector System. The truth? Many OEMs already support Optimus Technologies, Inc.’ Vector System, and we work directly with fleets and manufacturers to ensure compliance.

In fact, International has issued a statement indicating the Optimus system doesn't void their engine warranty.

Your fleet can run on hashtag#B100 with confidence.

What’s the biggest sustainability myth you’ve heard in trucking?

#Biodiesel #VectorSystem #FleetDecarbonization #OptimusTechnologies

[Optimus Technologies @optimuspgh]

Did you know?

The original diesel engine was designed to run on vegetable oil!

Rudolf Diesel’s vision was to create an energy-independent fuel source — and that early concept is alive today in biodiesel.

With @optimuspgh Vector System, fleets can finally realize Diesel’s original idea: running heavy-duty trucks on 100% biodiesel (B100) and cutting carbon emissions by up to 95% — right now.

This isn’t the future. It’s happening today with fleets like @PepsiCo and ADM.

What’s the most surprising fact you’ve heard about biodiesel?
