Priecājos šodien saņemt grāmatu "Judicial Review of Competition Law Enforcement in the EU & UK" (@Wolters_Kluwer) papīra formātā!
Thank you @or_brook, @barryjrodger, @pacomarcos, Maciej Bernatt, Annalies Outhuijse, @VRobCompLaw, @antondinev, @mciacovides, @ruppe_p, @AKalintiri, @MiguelSFerro, @Carolin01792839, @kaufman54686,

Thrilled about this partnership between NU London (@NortheasternLDN), the Bulgarian Competition Law Association (https://t.co/8XXMhb7gK9), and the National Institute of Justice (https://t.co/G07vNxUYJI) to deliver a 1-day training for Bulgarian judges and magistrates on "Effect on Trade between EU Member States and (in)effective application of Articles 101 and 102 TFEU".
The training will take place in Sofia, Bulgaria on Friday, 13 September 2024 at 9.00-17.30 EEST. One of the panels will include a follow-up study on the empirical research Alexandr Svetlicinii and I carried out for the project "Judicial Review of Competition Law Enforcement in the EU: Empirical Mapping 2004-2021" (https://t.co/m4NUK1d2JI, @or_brook, @barryjrodger).
Relying on our findings, the Note encourages competition authorities to publish an agenda, identifying certain sectors/practices as a priority. This may increase accountability+predictability & foster a proactive enforcement strategy.

Check out this comprehensive, comparative empirical study: https://t.co/8tscMEkA2Y
We find that the current national judicial review system of EU competition law *does not* fully match the integration aims of Regulation 1/2003 (i.e., ensuring an effective, consistent, & uniform application of the competition rules by national courts in all Member States)
