I am delighted to announce the successful treatment and discharge of seven (7) #COVID19 patients from the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital around 7pm on Tuesday 7th April, 2020 after their final tests results returned negative.
Since the outbreak of the first #Covid19 case in the FCT, I have closely monitored the condition of the patients from the daily briefings I have been receiving from health officials managing the patients.
I commend the dedicated and exceptional medical staff of the Teaching Hospital as well as those of the FCT Health & Human Services Secretariat for working closely to achieve this feat.
