@beckyjoo_ But she’s right, you’re aren’t navigating life as a black woman because no one is perceiving you as a black woman. Race isn’t about genetics, it’s a social construct determined by how we are perceived by others.
Haliey Welch, aka Hawk Tuah Girl, has now been gone for 2 weeks and hasn’t dropped any episodes of her Talk Tuah podcast since “going to sleep” after rug-pulling millions in a memecoin 😭

One reason complex trauma survivors are so susceptible to "was it really THAT bad, though?" mind-f*ckery is because complex trauma is pain that was so frequent & so pervasive over such a long period, that we had to adapt to it-- & we did. Though our "adaptations" came at a cost.
Want a better life?
Learn how to:
- self soothe when upset or stressed
- say “no” and without over-explaining
- fully listen without giving advice
- not take rejection personally
- let people face the natural consequences
- dedicate yourself to something even when it’s hard
- do something kind or generous without expecting anything in return
