NYSE parent @ICE_Markets and @okx's 50/50 joint venture, OKXICE, has notified the SEC of plans to launch a tokenized securities venue under the agency's temporary Innovation Exemption.

The proposed venue would offer retail and institutional investors 24/7 secondary trading in tokenized US NMS stocks through @Uniswap v4 liquidity pools on @XLayerOfficial, an @ethereum L2.

Access is permissioned through KYC/KYB, sanctions screening, whitelisting and wallet-bound credentials, while the underlying chain remains public and permissionless.

The tokens are intended to represent one-for-one security entitlements to underlying shares held through a broker-dealer. The notice lists 64 proposed stocks, including NVIDIA, Tesla and Apple, paired with USDC, USDG or USDT.
