I remember when Sony would say only children play Nintendo and that once they grow up, they'd move to PlayStation.
Well, that sounds cool and edgy on paper until people actually start getting their hands on Nintendo games. That's exactly what happened to me in 2019 when I played my first Zelda game all the way through on a Nintendo Switch Lite, Breath of The Wild. When you experience the overall method and quality that is put into a Nintendo game and compare it to anyone else, regardless of any of the hate mongering, it feels vastly DIFFERENT. They're genuinely fun. And I'm not saying there aren't games like that on the other platforms. But it's different. It's hard to put my finger on it.
And the crazier part is, with the Switch 2, Nintendo has really been able to amplify this to a whole new level with their latest releases and now the superb 3rd party support.
When you look to the left and right at Xbox and Playstation and directly compare their offerings in games to Nintendo's in this generation, it's actually quite one-sided.
It was bad enough that Both Sony and Xbox dropped the ball with exclusives this generation but now, they're basically telling people to go elsewhere.🤷🏾♂️
