Started on a shop interface. All the graphics and items in it are proof of concept for now. The frontend code for the buttons seems good enough. #RobloxDev
Made an inverse volumetric audio system for my friends zombie game on #Roblox You define parts that represent the inside of a volume, and (optional) windows that connect the inside to the outside. Audio plays when you are outside of the volume, and its position gets clamped to the nearest window when you are inside! I think the effect came out quite nice. #RobloxDev
This is what makes matches feel alive. You know your faction the second you spawn. Matching skins, voice lines in their language, and music that fits too. Hoping I can draw more inspiration from mid 2000s arcade shooters in Global Anarchy. #RobloxDev
Finally created the weapon configuration UI. This allows you to further setup your loadout by applying attachments, proficiencies, skins, and charms to your primary or secondary weapon!
Hoping we can get the game out later this month. #RobloxDev
Editing your primary perk in Global Anarchy modifies your players' skin. This can allow other players to know a little bit more about what loadout you are running. The Armory UI now helps the player understand what they will look like before applying! Thanks to @MaximumADHD for Module3D! An old, but still insanely useful model positioning module for UIs. #RobloxDev
