@HeraldOfPurity I'm 57, the mother of 3 boys, and yet I have no grandchildren because none of my sons have gotten married. All of my friends and relatives are having grandchildren and a "beautiful life". I guess mine is ugly then? What about all the children I teach the Bible to every week?

@JKirpestein @Whitehothart369 @MarkRichardson2 @w_bitterman Girl, that is so true because I lived it raising 3 boys with a husband that traveled and never had time to help at home. I didn't have babysitters and also homeschooled. It's no wonder I'm dealing with autoimmune issues now.

@MimiSchmoo @ive_arc Weren't huge families prior? My grandfather was one of 9, actually 10 because one of his brothers died. Born in the early 1900s, before modern medicine. And that size family was typical because of no birth control.
