Ok folks, if you haven't already done get your submission on the Athlone-Galway greenway in by Monday. Remember, an Oranmore-Athenry spur would make it easy for those living & working in the two areas to travel safely by bike, so ask for it in your submission.

Being considerate of others helps build better communities. Please park legally and make sure that children, and adults, can move safely around #Oranmore.

Some people have argued the #Oranmore#Cyclebus delayed them slightly as they go to work. Remember these children are the future of #Activetravel The reason we are helping as parents is to avoid scenes like the second photo!! Each family cycling represents #onelesscar

While we wait for the promised #Oranmore Traffic Management Plan, children's lives are being put at risk by unsafe driver behaviour.
Paths are for people.
Car parks are for cars.
This shouldn't be difficult to understand or to follow. @GardaInfo@RSAIreland@GalwayCoCo
What a fabulous day for a cycle to school. 45 bikes @KnocknacarraNS. 65 @GSMhicAmhlaigh. 69 @SIognaid. 85 @Col_Iognaid_SJ. 86(!) @Colaiste_Einde. Galway is made for cycling. #ActiveTravel
This morning's school traffic from #Oranmore village back to Oranhill. That's a traffic jam over 1km long in a village where the majority of housing estates are less than 2km from the schools.
We need to create #SafeRoutesToSchool so children have space to walk & bike instead.
