A share of fees is a distribution rule, not a stake in a company. Holding Orbis doesn't mean owning anything else, and in a quiet week the amount can be small or zero.
Still open: nothing we'd hide.
The plan runs on a weekly cycle: fees are collected, part of them is converted into tokens, and holders can then claim their portion, in proportion to what they held at a snapshot.
Still open: the snapshot rules, so that buying minutes before it doesn't count.
Every trade pays a fee. Our plan is to set aside a fixed part of those fees and to publish how much was set aside and when, so the number can be checked instead of trusted.
Still open: who verifies the numbers.
Orbis starts from one idea: when a market runs on trading, a small part of what trading produces could be shared with the people who hold $ORBIS. We're building that mechanism on Robinhood Chain.
Still open: what exactly is shared, and in what form.
