We can talk about cherry-picking. The graphic you posted ends in 1975, prior to some of the most extreme global warming on record. It was also pulled from the *1990* IPCC report, before much of our paleodata was analyzed (ice cores, tree rings, etc.) Here’s an updated graphic:

Through April 26, PDX has picked up 4.54 inches of rain for the month. This is just .03 behind the 5th-wettest April. Looks like another shot of rain Fri night and Sat. Will it be enough to reach the wettest April since 1940? We'll have to wait and see. #orwx #pdxtst

Some hope in Willamette Valley after the frost damage. It’s still hit and miss in areas as small as a single block but there is widespread damage that will affect the grapes this year.

Damage to the grape vines in Willamette Valley from the recent freeze is still being assessed but it’s pretty awful at first check. Frost damage (brown) primary bud on the right. Healthy/alive (green) secondary bud on the left. Secondaries can still produce but not as much.

The fact that you can’t file taxes — ie, pay the govt something required by law — for free on the IRS website is a real racket for intuit/TurboTax. They have NO business model if the govt could just make it easy. But…lobbying. So I pay $108 for the right to file/pay. Stupid.
