What's missing is the performance layer — automatically cluster failure patterns across traces, generate a fix, validate it won't break the other 199 steps, deploy. That's what I'm building at Converra. Sits on top of LangSmith.

Deterministic flows where they fit, 100%. But for everything else - week 2-3 weirdness is usually just untested edges. The agent was always broken - production just exposed it. What's missing is a tight loop: flag → diagnose → fix → validate → deploy. That's the layer I'm building at Converra.
