@M_Gouldhawke Why donβt you respond the actual substance of the argument that weβve made, backed up by evidence from the record, instead of continuing to spout insults?
Despite the claims of the QT our interest is not in disparaging individual thinkers or disputing that their contemporaries may have praised them (despite disagreement).
Our interest is in drawing out distinctions that still play a role in ideological/strategic distinctions today
Our original thread represented a broad overview of trends in revolutionary strategy advocated by leading figures in the anarchist movement, one which has implications for today.
Instead of resorting to childish insults, we will let the historical record speak for itself...
This thread is a lie regarding Luigi Galleani, who was part of more mass struggle & worker organizing than most anarchists alive today in Canada, the US or Australia ever will be. Anarchists try learning your *own* history & not lying about others like Stalinists challenge
In our view then, it is correct to distinguish between the ideas of thinkers like Galleani and Mostβwho saw intermediate concessions as getting in the way of revolutionβand other thinkers who saw struggles for such concessions as a necessary and strategic intermediate step.
@organizedanar There's a place for workers' co-ops, but it's a good deal smaller than the "dual power" advocates say. They're useful as social & economic laboratories and as educational demonstrations, but the main focus of the movement has to be on workers' organs of economic combat.
