Also, literally nowhere on their site does it state credits must be used for same exact route. Using it now is hard given this was an international flight originally. Spoke with customer service for 1 hour and 40 minutes only for them to tell us there’s nothing they can do. How?

@ChaseSupport @united @FTC unacceptable treatment of customers by Chase and United. My wife booked an international flight and had to change her flight because her grandma was hospitalized. Called Chase to cancel flight and they told me we could use credits in the future.

They did not disclose (upon booking and subsequent cancellation) that it had to be used for the SAME ROUTE in the future. She couldn’t re-book with United initially, because she had to accompany her grandma back to America.
