@PessimistsArc Right. Dario was already claiming that GPT2 was too dangerous to open source back in 2019.
I made fun of them then.
Everyone should make fun of them now.

There is a quiet, terrifying reality inside every enterprise trying to secure its data today. We are aggressively handing over the keys to the kingdom to AI agents — allowing them to query databases, read sensitive documents, and move information autonomously across the cloud. Yet, traditional data security was built for human beings operating in rigid, static environments. When an anomaly occurs or a compliance audit hits, security teams are left staring at fragmented logs, unable to trace whether a massive database query was run by a legitimate engineer, a compromised microservice, or a rogue autonomous agent.
It takes builders with a profound grasp of population-scale data security having literally designed the internal security systems at companies like Meta to look at this invisible chaos and solve it at the root. That is exactly what Apurv Garg (@originalApurv), Krishna Bagadia (@bagadia95), and Akash Mandal (@akashmandal001) are doing with Aurva.
Founded in 2022, Apurv and the team are building the definitive runtime data security and observability platform for the AI and agentic era.
Aurva deploys an identity-aware control plane that provides zero-impact, real-time visibility into exactly how data is being accessed and by whom. Instead of relying on static permissions that inevitably drift, it captures the full chain behind every data interaction at runtime: identity, action, data touched, destination, and outcome. Whether a complex query is initiated by a human, an API, or a non-human AI agent, Aurva ties it back to a verifiable identity. It seamlessly integrates into modern data environments, mapping sensitive data end-to-end, flagging anomalies, and blocking inappropriate use in the exact moment it happens.
The true moat here is uncompromising runtime visibility paired with deterministic enforcement. Aurva doesn't just generate more false-positive alerts for an already exhausted security team; it provides irrefutable evidence of who touched what, processing billions of access events daily with zero application latency impact. By completely abstracting away the paralyzing fear of data exposure, it allows engineering teams to deploy dynamic AI workloads safely. It shifts the paradigm from retroactive guesswork to real-time, identity-centric truth.
The market? CISOs, security engineers, and data compliance teams at high-scale enterprises, fintechs, and cloud-native organizations who desperately need to innovate with AI without risking catastrophic regulatory or security failures.
Seeing builders of this caliber head-down, quietly architecting the heavy-duty security infrastructure that the agentic era will fundamentally rely on, is profoundly inspiring. They are giving security teams their visibility and their confidence back.
Let's celebrate the builders.

For years the fraud Sadhguru told followers who paid 50L to him to go to Kailash/Mansarovar through him that he will not allow them to die. Now that 77 of them perished in the Nepal tragedy, he takes refuge under the laws of physics! https://t.co/Jo6dVWAN3R
@JoshiPralhad@RahulGandhi Even the opposition MPs are democratically elected, and you don’t have right to mock them either. Just buying opposition MPs doesn’t mean that you have the mandate. There’s a reason that BJP was stopped at less than 250 seats!
@indv6@worshipVK And this is the exact reason people are becoming anti-BJP. People like you who work as IT-cell for them, calling everyone anti-national. Being critical of govt. policies is important for a healthy democracy! Have seen the play first hand at Meta. Don't get me started :)
@aravind Not the right assumption. Have seen it work first hand while at Meta. Specific trust & safety measures are put in place for algorithmic prioritization to avoid bias against or for any specific group. Infact, BJP is the highest Ads buying party. INC not even within 10%.
Few years back, every Indian VC needed an edtech bet. Then @BYJUS went into insolvency and @unacademy pennies on $.
Now every VC needs a quick-commerce bet. Groceries. Food (@justswishin). Fashion. Services (@withpronto). Everything in minutes.
New category. Same herd behaviour?
@abhijeet_dipke Worst timing! You should have waited this out. This gives a weapon to the BJP media machinery to attack the whole protest now. Idiocracy and opportunism :|
@NoxPanthera@worshipVK He isn't a pawn for Congress. Congress leadership is delusional, dysfunctional and indecisive but not stupid. Dhruv Rathee is just using hatred to make his brand (and see we are talking about him!).
@indv6@worshipVK Why are you talking about muslims! Talk about the growth, talk about education! I am associated with RSS for long time (even during my time in US, where it's HSS), but divisive policies of RSS are now close to being delusional. RSS is corrupt at this moment! (see Ram Mandir)
@indv6@worshipVK While it is okay to be associated with orgs like ABVP and RSS ideologically, but this defend at all cost behavior should stop, else we are no different from the other party.
