Last season, without Baleba, Manchester United were going to be relegated. We needed to send Bruno Fernandes away to sign Carlos. But a few months after, he's not even a serious target anymore; it is now Mateus Fernandes, or the Red Devils would lose value and prestige. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
There is no justification for police brutality against anyone , including people with disabilities. The scenes from Nakuru CBD are a stain on the conscience of the nation.
A government that unleashes force on its most vulnerable citizens has abandoned its duty to protect. Justice demands accountability, not excuses. Those responsible must be held to account.
Kaikai: We didn’t see the President yesterday. Yesterday, he should have done Bomas, and today, he needed to be off. It is not a show of power or strength; it’s insensitive, and it demonstrates a lack of empathy. These kids did not need to die. They did not want to overthrow the government; you don’t overthrow a government with a bottle of water, a mobile phone, or a flag, which is what some of these kids died holding #CitizenNewsGang @LinusKaikai
As I said earlier, this current board has everyone guessing, including the top journalists. The truth is, they have no clue what’s actually happening behind the scenes.
This morning, Fabrizio Romano said that Tchouaméni’s wages would be a stumbling block for any move to Manchester United.
On the other hand, Ben Jacobs is also reporting that wages will not be an issue for Manchester United and that personal terms would not be a problem at all.
That alone shows how the current board operates. Everyone is speculating, but only few people know what’s happening behind closed doors. The club is keeping its business private, and that’s why so many reports continue to contradict each other.
I’m a patient man. 🤣
@Varanecousin He is not even half the player Maino is..you guys underrate United players..
Maino finished third at United remind me where Nottingham with World class Anderson finished again
🚨 JUST IN: KRA has officially changed the deadlines for filing annual tax returns in Kenya.
Millions of Kenyans will now have different filing dates depending on their tax status.
📌 New deadlines:
• Nil Returns (no taxable income): By January 31
• Salaried employees (PAYE only): By April 30. Most returns will be pre-filled on iTax - simply verify and submit.
• Businesses & taxpayers with other income (side hustles, consultancy, rental income, etc.): June 30 remains the deadline.
This replaces the old system, where almost everyone filed by June 30.
Please read, save, and share so your family and friends don't miss the new deadlines and end up paying unnecessary penalties. Adios.
There is no revolution coming. There is no uprising that overthrows the government. The elites have spent decades preparing for every possible threat to their power.
People love saying, “There are more of us than them.”
So what? How can millions of people unite when they hate each other over race, gender, politics, religion, and even sports teams? A divided population is a defeated population.
The truth is, the system doesn’t need to suppress everyone. It only needs to keep everyone distracted, angry, and fighting each other.
And voting? People act like they’re choosing the future of the country. Most of the real decisions are made long before the average person ever steps into a voting booth.
There is no grand awakening coming. No mass rebellion. The people at the top understand human nature better than the people at the bottom understand themselves.
Abagusii could do head surgery before modern medicine, and the chances of survival and healing were 90%+. The surgeon with his team could even take a break to take some busaa before proceeding with the procedure. Epic!
Let's have an honest discussion.
Why does the government punish retirees with delayed pension payments?
I see many retired teachers suffering. Travelling to Nairobi now and then. Queuing in NSSF offices. Chasing files.
All following up on pensions.
I mean, it is the same government that:
• Sent the teacher on retirement
• Stopped paying their monthly salary
• Knows exactly when they retired
• Has all their employment records
So why doesn't the pension start automatically the following month?
What exactly is the retiree following up?
What information is still missing?
Why should a retired teacher spend their sunset years chasing money they been contributing for decades?
What is wrong?
Kenyan tax law is tricky, and sometimes entertaining.
There are guys called H-N-F.
High Networth Freelancers.
They earn in dollars. Think in dollars. And price everything in dollars.
But now, in Kenya, taxes are crazy.
A freelancer earning 10M annually,
Pay taxes worth 3M shillings.
• That is 30%.
They do not like that. So they get creative.
They look for low-tax countries:
- Dubai, Mauritius, cayman islands, etc.
They register brief case companies there.
- As sole directors & sole shareholders.
Clients pay directly to those companies.
The company pays Zero or very low tax.
• Then sends money to Kenya as dividends. Withholding tax about ~5%
- So tax drops from 30% to 5%.
Same 10m. Tax now is 500,000.
But unknown to them. There is one dangerous sentence chilling quietly in Kenyan tax law.
It reads:
• Any company managed and controlled from Kenya, is a Kenyan resident company.
Meaning:
- You own the company in Cayman
- But run it from your laptop in Nairobi
That is a Kenyan company.
And Kenyan companies must pay Kenyan taxes.
So one day KRA audits the freelancer. He pays zero taxes in Kenya.
He says he earns dividend from his Cayman company.
KRA asks for the registration documents. And finds he is the sole director.
- KRA Taxes the company in Kenya
- Adds penalties for tax evasion
- And goes for him as the representative to pay
Lesson.
• Structure your offshore company properly.
• Or KRA will structure it for you.
