i’ve been thinking… what if Christina doesn’t know what to do for new music, and that’s why she hasn’t teased anything? cus she’s pretty much done it all.
teen pop, latin pop, contemporary R&B, hip hop, rock, jazz, vocal ballads, reggaeton, trap, electropop - whats missing??
@glorioushurt___ if she does rock, it’ll most likely be similar to Fighter to compliment her vocals. and you know what, I’d love for her to do alt metal and symphonic rock. (Evanescence and Within Temptation type of music)
@Bakekang69 we definitely need a B2B sequel. but she should lean towards an authentic 50s and 60s sound like Etta James, Aretha Franklin, Nina Simone, and Ella Fitzgerald.
@zaynmyaIl honestly, neither. i love my boys down, but these albums are not their best work.
Self Titled, Faith in the Future, Room Under the Stairs, and Heartbreak Weather are still top tier (for me).
@liamangelie Liam most likely would’ve been beat out by Justin Bieber. One Direction helped him rise through the solo male artist competition at the time. he just needed to find his own identity in 2017 like the others did.
I don't know, but somehow I feel that the pop stars of the 2000s are built differently, with different materials and an aura that is not present in today's pop stars.
@lostinyosemite Born to Die is a unique, cinematic pop experience. i was hooked on the first listen.
Ocean Blvd took me 3 years to warm up to. it's not as cohesive and half the tracks are kinda boring.
