Looks like someone in Washington just updated the travel schedule.
"America First" has a way of becoming "Nigeria Next."
Soon we'll probably start hearing urgent calls for "democratization," "protecting democratic values," and "supporting civil society".
You're wrong. Nigeria is an extraction site where the West comes to extract mineral resources freely, without being challenged.
The problem of Nigeria is not too many tribes.
The problem of Nigeria is external interference.
The so-called Biafra War was a Cold War proxy...
If the Igbos had successfully become Biafrans and secceded from Nigeria, Biafra would have become the richest & most prosperous country in Africa today.
End.
...between Britain and France. France wanted to recolonize the first oil discovery region.
The "Biafra war", was supposed by Portugal, France and apartheid government in south Africa.
We couldn't have been better off.
Back in 2022, after my video about my ordeal at the hands of the EFCC went viral, someone in law enforcement called me and said, "This thing you're doing will get you in trouble o. Why not do what every other person is doing? You can make comedy or find a way to entertain people. Must you talk about the government? These people are powerful o."
Nigerians, we need to remind these people that we are powerful. We are running out of time.
Since YCee has awakened Nigerians to the “Olodo uprising” debate, here’s a report on how the big tech giants weaponize their algorithms to dumb down the Nigerian/African population.
It’s my favorite report for the @Spearhead_Af from last year, but evergreen. Make sure you follow the @Spearhead_Af for more of this every single day.
You're correct. Nigeria isn't China.
Still, there are many ways ethnic conflict (giant risk, as you've said) can be avoided.
I'm not going to pretend to know the step by step process of how to achieve this, but I can try:
1. Don't sell the idea of socialism yet. Or class consciousness. Or other fancy words that 95% of Nigerians don't have the education or inclination to understand.
A socialist revolution should instead say they're fighting corruption, insecurity and poverty.
That's it.
The patriots should wage a visibly ethnicity blind campaign against corruption, insecurity and poverty.
Today arrest Yahaya Bello. Tomorrow arrest Orji. Day after that arrest Aregebsola or whoever.
All get harsh but fair trials (with judges visibly multi ethnic)
Simultaneously pluck low hanging fruits like electricity. Do it with speed and aggression.
Electrify major cities like Lagos, Kano, PH, Benin, Abuja, Owerri, Jo's and Maiduguri
Once everybody has 20-24/7 electricity the economic benefits and goodwill from the people will smooth over a lot of latent ethnic tensions if it exists.
Scrap the EU-US recommended terrorist reintegration program.
Then go full scorched earth on the terrorists.
Our boys in uniform can wipe out these animals within a year if you unshackle their hands politically.
The socialists must invest in Nigerian media to seize the narrative everytime.
Any media house or radio house that preaches anti nationalist sentiment gets their licenses suspended on flimsy charges.
Aggressively push nationalist discourse.
The socialists should also seize a lot of the assets of the bourgeoisie under the guise of fighting corruption.
Oil blocks, real estate, land etc
Seize them ruthlessly, and with the help of state run media (either openly state run or covertly), push the narrative of justice.
Then immediately you convert these assets and recovered funds to build hospitals, roads, infrastructure etc.
Build a textile city in Kano. Build an electronics factory complex the size of a small town in Aba. Build a steel plant in Jos. Build a shining stadium in Abuja.
I'm really just freestyling with my ideas right now but you get the idea?
Ethnic tension is mostly a result of wealth inequality.
Sure there are some that almost no amount of prosperity will solve, but it is 100% possible to get them to not kill each other. Over generations and with intentional work, the sharp edges of the hate will get duller.
We cross the river by feeling the stones
If enough people are interested I might do a longer post on this.
Everyone is forced to be in Lagos. And I mean “deliberately” forced to be in Lagos to serve capitalism.
You probably don’t know this because you don’t understand how the capitalist economy of Nigeria is set up to work.
When you extract the value of the whole country and concentrate it in one location, it serves the capitalists, as people will be forced by lack of activities to leave their original location (where they live rent free and grow their own food) to Lagos where they will have no choice than slave for capitalism just to afford to pay for the same rent and food they had for free. Capitalism needs people who are desperate to eat and pay rent to survive.
It was not by accident that every headquarters and every key infrastructure and public service was concentrated in Lagos. It was deliberate. It’s also not by accident that insecurity is trafficked everywhere else before it get to Lagos. It is deliberate.
It’s very important you educate yourself on how systems work, to avoid embarrassing yourself by asking people if they are forced to be in Lagos. Of course, they are forced to be in Lagos.
...but their gatekeepers are the evil ones?
Someone whose country is probably still using a constitution made by colonizers is calling her leaders evil.
"Your leaders" wey you no fit choose on your own.
Yeah, that's what they made you believe. Your leaders are evil and corrupt.
But those who invaded, enslaved, and killed your people are not evil?
The people who killed your patriotic nationalist leaders are not evil?
Those mining your resources illegally are not evil,...
If this revolutionary revolt building up is not contained, we might see that rebellion in 2027.
However, the West is planning another regime change in Nigeria to misdirect us.
The only way Peter Obi is becoming president is if Nigerians reenact the French Revolution after the rigged results are released.
Only a sustained nationwide rebellion from Calabar to Maiduguri will dislodge the Chicago boy and his cronies.
Anything else is theater sadly.
