War Games (1983) is the movie that steered me towards a career in Information Technology and eventually Cybersecurity. Pencil was a commonly used password back then. 🤦🏻♂️
Trump praises Xi during China visit.
“We’ve had a fantastic relationship. We’ve gotten along when there were difficulties, we work it out.”
This is not the same Trump we saw in Davos early this year, when he was highly critical of European leaders.
President Trump excoriates a reporter for criticizing his request from Congress to double the amount for his ballroom.
"I doubled the size of it, you DUMB PERSON. I doubled it. You're not a smart person."
Aziz Ansari made a surprise appearance on SNL last night, his impression as Kash Patel was hilarious! 🤣
“I’m a trailblazer. I’m the first Indian person to suck at their job. Everyone says Indian people are smart, hard working, incredibly intelligent. I've proven without a shadow of doubt that we can be just as incapable and incompetent as the whites."

🚨#BREAKING: In mid-March, the Philippines declared a “national energy emergency” in response to the U.S.-Israeli war with Iran. The government stated it had enough fuel to last about 45 days.
Closure of the Strait of Hormuz has caused supply chain disruptions in oil supplies worldwide.
Recently, at the Asia Zero-Emission Community (AZEC) Plus Online Summit, President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr., said the Philippines is feeling the impact of rising global oil prices, supply disruptions are pushing up fuel costs, and affecting all sectors of the economy from transportation, food, and manufacturing.
The Philippines is now facing inflationary pressures due to rising fuel costs.
Asian countries are especially at risk as many rely on oil imports.
In response to the continued oil shortages, President Marcos has urged all 10 countries in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) to activate fuel-sharing pact. Member states include: Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.
🚨BREAKING: Water treatment plant in Minot, North Dakota was a victim of a ransomware attack on March 14, 2026. It serves over 80,000 residents.
The plant was forced to implement manual treatment procedures after its Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system became inoperable as a result of the ransomware attack.
SCADA systems enable industrial facilities to monitor, control, and analyze processes in real-time. It collects data from sensors and PLC (Program Logic Controllers) machines into a graphical interface for operators to manage electrical grids, manufacturing and water treatment plants.
The water supply in Minot was not affected by the attack, but it forced operators to manually read gauges for hours until the compromised SCADA system was replaced.
U.S critical infrastructure like power plants and water treatment facilities are targets of nation state cyber criminals. Port facilities and hospitals are targets as well.
The attackers of Minot water treatment plant is unknown. But U.S federal agencies (FBI, CISA, NSA) warn of active cyberattacks from Iranian affiliated hackers targeting U.S. critical infrastructure, since the start of the war with Iran.
Cybersecurity standards and incident response measures at water treatment plants nationwide should be implemented to safeguard our drinking water. Tabletop exercises should be conducted to ensure proper measures are in place to respond to cyber attacks.

🚨BREAKING: China is reducing its holdings of U.S. Treasury bonds, to roughly $683.5 billion.
Why?
•Less reliance on the US dollar.
•Manage risk due to escalating geopolitical tensions.
As the US debt approaches $40 trillion. Beijing aims to lower its exposure to US financial markets, while increasing holdings of alternative assets like gold.
Japan and the United Kingdom are the largest foreign holders of U.S. debt, holding approximately 1.2 trillion and $880 billion respectively, China is third.
As the Iran war continues, unconfirmed reports of Iran requiring ships to pay in Chinese Yuan for safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz.
China has made a significant investment in Iran’s infrastructure in terms of highways and railways, through its Belt and Road Initiative (BRI).
China plans to leverage its infrastructure investments in Iran to transport energy resources, as it is the largest buyer of Iranian crude oil, taking in 90% of Iran’s total oil exports via tankers.
