It’s been an incredible two years. When I started grad school, my plan was straightforward: conduct background research, complete a few weeks of excavation, analyze the data, and defend my thesis.

With over 200 visitors in attendance, it was a surreal moment to see years of fieldwork and analysis come to life for the public. I am deeply grateful for the support of my committee, my classmates, and everyone involved in this journey.

Becoming a central part of, let alone the catalyst for, museum exhibit was never on my radar. Last night, the LSU Military Museum hosted the grand opening of the "Louisiana Seminary of Learning and Military Academy" exhibit, showcasing the history of the original LSU campus.
