I drove into work in downtown Howell this morning at 8am, there was a wheelchair bound veteran sitting in front of the memorial. I drove home from work just now at 8pm and that SAME man is sitting in the EXACT same spot protecting that memorial. My heart is broken.

To think that this man sat in the heat all day to protect that memorial with all he has, in thought that some horribly disrespectful people may come along to vandalize it is absolutely disgusting.
