I don’t think that writing BL is inherently feminist but I do think that protecting women’s access to being able to express themselves & their sexuality through BL from censorship and legal repercussions is a feminist issue + more important than moralizing the act of being a fujo
nothing about media that centers men is feminist, nothing that involves men is completely feminist. no one in this patriarchal society is a complete feminist. some of you need to realize that its fine to consume media with men in it without portraying it as feminist cause its not
You cant parade around and call things feminist just because you like it. Nothing that centers men will ever be completely feminist let alone inherently feminist
Cried soooo much watching seriously…. its also the slowest burn of all slow burns ive ever watched so i was kind of bored the first 7/8 eps bcs ive read the novel and the manhua multiple times and the drama does a rly good and accurate portrayal of that first arc
Ok minus the hong kong dance teacher arc …. Thats a bit (?) i enjoyed the novel because it was melancholic and realistic love… this runaway part seems too forced… but i did like the part of sang yan having to see how yifan was living
