@espiers My wife is a pharmacist: in general they’re only prescribing for high-risk people. It interacts highly with many other meds and can have nasty side effects. Her opinion: in general unnecessary if vaxxed.
Frustrating, I know, just passing the info along.
@espiers I hear you, but I’ve personally seen companies do exactly the same thing. Why marketers and executives can’t understand this point of bring me.
@lisaphillips The world isn’t going to eradicate the disease unfortunately and I think we have to come to grips with some level of risk. I wish it weren’t that way, there are those that can’t take these risks. Would happily continue wearing masks if required.
@lisaphillips Mixed bag. They kept outdoor parks closed for a full year, well beyond the point it made sense.
However, they adopted a vaccination requirement during the omicron peak and didn’t remove the mask mandate until last week. Compliance by residents has been good.
@lisaphillips Sorry, I've followed your challenges and do feel for you. In Chicago we're at about 0.7% positivity and 135 daily cases.
We still feel a fair bit of anxiety over the decision and it appears the case counts have bottomed, so we're bracing for yet another uptick.
@syswarren Agreed. Please people, give your managers time to manage. When are they conducting 1:1s and improving process if you allocate them as an IC 100%? We're a smaller team, hiring a dev manager. When planning for 2022 I assumed 20% of their time writing code.
I'm hiring a Business Analyst and Development Manager. If you or anyone you know is interested, I'd love for you to apply! https://t.co/WapGVG5rKa
We've got some very interesting projects in the coming year and a company that respects your time. DM me to learn more.
