@AdesolaSo ONLY IN NIGERIA!!!! Chief or no Chief, sort out your bills by yourself, it's your freaking birthday. This entitlement. if your to be inlaw wants to chip in fine. Don't make him the bank roller of your birthday. Both committee and the birthday man nor try. Bro dodged a bullet.
@Horlheryinkar That's disaster in the making.Forget the freebies you're getting for now and put yourself in his shoes? Everything will end in pain and you may loose not only the freebies but your life aswell. He told you his conditions but you LIED!Some sins are never forgiven deceit is one.
@am_frosh_olami@Adunniolaide02 He's not going to change.I will say a little prayer for him. What he's doing at the moment, will be done to his daughter too. Let us see how the shoe fits.Wife is your helper not your servant.30 days pay,you just collect it like that? Some men need to be checked psychologically.
@Bigfendi4l You should have just ignored the boy and not honour both the note and the boy!!! It's like selling alcohol to an underage. We take a lot of things for granted in this country. Culture, Traditions or what not, it's wrong on many levels.
@priye_tanya I decide to go back to the ATM, I talked to the security, that what branch services this ATM. He told me they were around. I knocked on the back door and typical folks they didn't want to open. I final convinced him to open and handed him 15k. Apparently, he later noticed his...
@priye_tanya Went to a Stanbic ATM in my area, I collected 15k and left. Only for me to get hone and I noticed it was 30k the machine gave me, I checked my debit alert to confirm it was 15k debit. I put a call to my banker friend, he said I should go to the nearest branch.
What happened in our theatre today...my hands are still shaking as i write this.
She walked into our hospital pale… shaking… blédéing.
Her wrapper was soaked.
“I’m so weak,” she whispered.
We rushed her in.
Pregnancy test, negative.
Scan report “Very large fibroid.”
The blééding was controlled.
Surgery was scheduled.
She went home.
But the date didn’t reach.
Three days later, she was carried back in.
"I fainted twice at home" She said.
Her lips were white. Her voice barely there.
She held the doctor’s coat and begged,
"Please… operate on me. I’ve completed the money. I don’t want to d!e."
There was something about the way she said it.
Like someone who had already said goodbye in her heart.
We moved fast.
Consent signed.
Blõõd arranged.
Theatre ready.
The obstetrician-gynecologist began the surgery, expecting to remove a massive fibroid.
The room was quiet except for the sound of the suction machine.
Then suddenly
The doctor froze.
He leaned closer.
His eyes widened.
“Wait…”
We all looked at him.
His voice shook.
“This is not a fibroid.”
My heart started racing.
He reached carefully inside and lifted something small.
And then
A tiny arm moved.
"It’s a baby!" he shouted.
For a second, nobody breathed.
A baby.
Alive.
Small. Premature. Covered in blõõd.
I felt my knees weaken.
The baby let out a weak cry.
The anaesthetist looked at the monitor in disbelief.
“How was this missed?”
Before we could recover from the shock
The doctor looked back inside again.
His face changed.
"There’s another one…"
Tears filled my eyes before she even said it.
Minutes later
Another baby was delivered.
A girl.
A boy and a girl.
Twins.
We were supposed to remove a tumour.
Instead, we were holding two living babies.
The room that prepared for loss…
Turned into a delivery room.
Some of us were crying openly behind our masks.
When the mother woke up in recovery, she looked confused.
"Is the fibroid gone?" she whispered weakly.
The doctor smiled through tears.
"There was no fibroid."
We placed two tiny wrapped babies beside her.
"You had twins."
She stared at them like her brain couldn’t understand what her eyes were seeing.
Then she started crying.
Deep, painful, grateful tears.
"I was told I couldn’t conceive…" she sobbed.
All those weeks of blééding…
All the fear of dy!ng…
And inside her
God was hiding two heartbeats.
Today, as a nurse, I learned something I will never forget:
Sometimes what looks like a problem on the scan…
Is a miracle in disguise.
What was scheduled as a surgery for loss…
Turned into the birth of a boy and a girl.
And there wasn’t a dry eye in the theatre. 😭

@itzchristunique Hmm.Pray make God give you money or resources to be there for your family! Did she impregnate herself? If options were given 99.9% of women will go for CS delivery. I witnessed delivery in 1 of Lagos biggest hospital on a Tuesday,9 babies all CS.5 were nurses that worked there.
@Wizarab10 Sometimes the way a woman behaves towards you will tell whether she loves you or not. It was never her home, she never loved you. You were the supposed Maga "the benefactor". Sadly, thank God she aborted those pregnancies, she would have taken you to the cleaners. Ur head strong
@GbengaWemimo@PRINZE_OF_RADIO@_ndianabasi Only in Nigeria. We have normalised nonsense. U&ur wife didn't come alone, you brought 6 other mouth to feed.I can bet, there are left overs at home. It was a contract, why not respect urself. That's why you feel weird you are asked to pay for birthday dinners abroad. Borrow sense.
@AdageorgeA Part 2: I don't know how one of the neighbours saw my bill, snapped it and went to the electricity office, that they are doing favouritism, mind you, I just moved in, they have been there over 1 and half decade. Am I supposed to announce to all that they were been overcharged?
@AdageorgeA Over sharing is a problem in this part of the world. When I moved to my present accommodation, the power bill was outrageous. I wrote them to come and do electricity audit. Bill drop down 4 times, the present rate. Marketer started hiding my bill, will not drop with others.
@drealbigvirg How did he know you had the rent money? You must have discussed it or something. Many things are better not said, a lot of breakthrough are aborted cause we over share. Rent and school fees aren't what you play with. You can't underestimate your sanity. He just used your good❤.
@AfamDeluxo In life experience is the best TEACHER!! Quiet unfortunate she's been with some terrible African DEMONS & FAMILY ! And she's spot on, with accent and all. May God mend and bless her heart. 💔💔💔💔
