The ONLY way the PA role starts to even remotely make sense in the U.K.:

- get rid of rotational doctor training
- move to a 3-5 year post grad training programme for doctors
- increase medical school places and the appropriate jobs for them
- increase post grad training jobs
- focus on retention of doctors - some of which by the above and by FPR

Only then can we even start to think about a PA role in the U.K. - till then it’ll always be a doctor replacement
