Today, our headlines are dominated by kidnappings, corruption, political drama and survival.

That shift should worry us.

A nation becomes whatever occupies the minds of its young people.

When children grow up hearing about scientists, inventors and astronauts, they dream of building.

When they grow up hearing only about violence, fraud and politics, many begin to believe those are the only paths to relevance.

The tragedy is that we have stopped inspiring our children to even look up.

The future belongs to nations that fill young minds with impossible dreams and then give them the tools to pursue them.

We cannot build a great country if our children are surrounded only by stories of failure.

Nigeria lost more “commissioned” army officers under Tinubu than under Buhari & Jonathan combined. The calamity that befell the Nigerian Army in 3 years is unimaginable.

We lost multiple camp commanders (including a Major in Damasak & others in Monguno). They fell to attacks, others fell to IEDs.

These are twenty, twenty-five, thirty & thirty-five years of active service wasted. They died so that politicians can soirée & party hard.

80 years ago no African or Arab man wanted to travel to Europe or America.

It was a Chinese thing until the Western world started bombing and destabilising the Arab and African world in the pretext of fighting Terrorism and Islam.

You manufactured endless propaganda to label these people as terrible people and provided yourself an excuse to kill them just to steal their resources.

Gold, oil, diamonds, rare earth minerals, name them.

You create terrorist organisations, train them, fund them, use them to distbilize regions with huge mineral deposits and weaponize terroism for illegal mining and extracts.

Today the United States is the largest exporter of oil.

As we speak, the Unites States is actively extracting rare eath minerals in Northern Nigeria using their terrorist group Boko Haram and Iswap.

These same people will go on TV and complain of illegal immigrants and how they are a threat to the US and Europe.

The question is, after bombing people from their homes and making them homeless,

Where did you expect they will go?

Definitely the countries where the process of their natural resources is used to develop.

Want to control immigration?

Nigerian army isn't as courageous as it used to be. We have a bunch of politicians in military uniforms now.

If u don't act now, if u don't wipe out all the terrorists in Nigeria now, this is lead to the decline of morale within the armed forces.

You may be a serving General with security details, what happens when you retire in few months/years from now.

I remember how brave and courageous the military used to be during Abacha days as our president (Nigeria's best president ever). Today, we no only have terrorists mocking and killing serving and retired Generals, but even impersonating them.

Act now to restore your dignity.
Act decisively.
Neutralise all the terrorists and their sponsors.

It is not inseI believe it is both insensitive and irresponsible to post NYSC members to areas where there are legitimate security concerns. The first duty of any government is to protect the lives of its citizens, not expose them to avoidable risks.

NYSC needs to be reimagined for the realities of today. There is no compelling reason to place young graduates in harm's way when national service can be redesigned to allow them serve within or closer to their states of residence while still promoting national integration, skills development, and community service.

Until insecurity is decisively addressed, posting corps members to high-risk areas is a policy that deserves serious review. National service should build the future of our young people, not make them fear for their safety.

Nigeria started getting invaded from the early 2000s, the plans will get leaked here and there time to time, asked any orthodox Christian from the north, once in awhile there will be attacks here and there over one flimsy issue or the other, always detrimental and bloody for the Christian community, all the time the gov will do nothing, there’s a clear message being passed that there’s nothing we can do and for some reason we understand, we’re so afraid and ready to dim ourselves and our voices, I understand we’re the minority, so you either keep shut or get wiped out.
From the moment Boko Haram happened, people were aware and some have members in their homes, but they’ll always cover up and protect their own because their first main claim is to stop education and eliminate Christianity and non Christians affiliated with force or education, (that changed along the way because they started killing everyone) that’s when others join with the concern. We saw it coming but the same Nigerian Syndrome of “it can never happen in the south or east” kept hurling back at me each time I express concern. 2020 was crazy because I lived on a major highway in Abuja, during the lockdown, they transported people, young men which at the time I believe were almajiris from the north all over Nigeria and mainly Abuja, you’ll see truck loads of them and the military on the roads let them go. I was particularly worried about security in Abuja, remembered voicing out my concern to several people and again I was seen as the Worry mama, me wey get my visa at hand😁, shortly afterwards all kinds of crimes start happening in Abuja, I and my brothers wife were almost kidnapped, our house was raided for one good hour, they packed everything in my brothers car and drove away, we have to give them our atms and correct pins to withdraw as we’re scared they’ll be back and we’re aware of they’d wanted to kill is that day we’ll be dead, they had weapons, they said me and my sis to follow them but changed their mind on our way of the house.
We’re a type of selfish humans, unbelievably the most selfish people on earth, we don’t care about our collective selves, we only care about ourselves until we realised “ourselves” alone is not capable.
