Sklep odrzucił reklamację z powodu... „żrącego potu”

Zakup drogich butów trekkingowych miał być inwestycją w komfort podczas górskich wędrówek, jednak już po trzech wyjściach w teren okazał się wielkim rozczarowaniem.

W obuwiu całkowicie odkleiła się wewnętrzna wyściółka, a szwy łączące poszczególne elementy materiału bezpowrotnie puściły.Konsument postanowił zgłosić problem sprzedawcy, jednak ten dwukrotnie odrzucił reklamację.

Sklep powołał się na absurdalną teorię, twierdząc, że uszkodzenia powstały z winy klienta, a konkretnie przez „agresywny i nietypowy skład chemiczny jego potu”. Według sieciówki tak specyficzna biologia użytkownika miała doprowadzić do rozpuszczenia spoiw materiału.

Klient nie dał się jednak zastraszyć pseudonaukową argumentacją i skierował sprawę do specjalisty, którym był Biegły Rzeczoznawca Obuwia Karol Pesta. Niezależny ekspert w oficjalnej opinii bezlitośnie obalił stanowisko sklepu.

Wskazał, że ludzkie stopy naturalnie wydzielają wilgoć, a obuwie turystyczne musi być konstrukcyjnie i materiałowo przygotowane na takie warunki. Prawdziwą przyczyną awarii okazała się wada fabryczna użycie kleju montażowego o zbyt niskich parametrach technicznych.

While the European Union is discussing its 21st sanctions package against russia, Ukraine has already imposed another package today.

This time, Ukrainian missiles struck the VNIIR-Progress enterprise in Cheboksary, russia.

The plant produces components for Shahed drones, as well as for Iskander-M and Kalibr missiles, including receivers and antennas for the GLONASS, GPS, and Galileo satellite navigation systems.

Additional sanctions were also imposed on the Kuibyshev oil refinery near Samara.

It is important to note that these are additional sanctions. Ukrainian forces previously struck the plant in Cheboksary with drones and an FP-5 Flamingo missile on May 5. The Kuibyshev refinery was also attacked on May 4.

A new study has reconstructed 1,000 years of earthquake activity along Southern California’s San Andreas and San Jacinto fault systems and found that tectonic stress in the region has reached levels not seen in the past millennium.

Using a physics-based 4D earthquake cycle model, researchers combined paleoseismic data (from geological evidence, radiocarbon dating, tree-ring anomalies, and historical records) with simulations of stress accumulation and release. The results show that current stress on key fault segments, particularly around the Cajon Pass junction northeast of Los Angeles, equals or exceeds the highest values observed over the entire 1,000-year period.

Cajon Pass functions as an “earthquake gate”, a critical junction where ruptures on one fault can sometimes propagate to the other under the right stress conditions, potentially triggering much larger, multi-fault events. Historical patterns indicate that joint ruptures across both fault systems have occurred when stress levels on the adjacent segments (such as the Mojave South section of the San Andreas and the San Jacinto Bernardino section) become similarly high and aligned. Today, those segments are modeled at approximately 2.8 MPa and 3.6 MPa, respectively, placing the system in a configuration historically associated with through-going ruptures.

This has significant implications for the densely populated greater Los Angeles region, including San Bernardino, Riverside, and critical infrastructure corridors through Cajon Pass. However, the study does not predict the timing of the next major earthquake—such events cannot currently be forecasted precisely. Instead, it provides a physics-based assessment of accumulated stress and the range of plausible rupture scenarios that could occur.
