This is my daily reminder that inflation is at 33% and we need to bring that number down meaningfully for many investments to be viable and for people's incomes to stabilize.
Wale Edun should be thinking of how to solve this morning, noon and night. Its critical.
@slenchy@MsAndrea3000@michaelevknight Oh I would never put communism above capitalism. In my original post I said capitalism was still by far the best economic system. However my submission is that it's still has a long way to go to being a 'fair and balanced' system while still being meritocratic.
@slenchy@michaelevknight I watch nature docs and predators dominate, but their actions are sustainable and don't endanger their environment. No matter how violent we think nature is... Observe the cycles and their actual sustainability.
Vandals destroy. They don’t steal two spans of aluminium conductor. They wouldn’t even know where to sell it. A span of 330kv line can reach up to 500m. A kilometer of ACSR cannot be moved without lifting equipment. TCN should look inwards.
@slenchy@michaelevknight 3/Also, see how much debt so many companies carry relative to their revenue and size? Why is this okay? If we examine it critically, call up any industry you'll see the grave imbalance. There is nothing "natural" about endangering your entire ecosystem ALL the time.
@slenchy@michaelevknight 2/ Be it more PET bottles from coca cola and other soda companies trying to make sales or more fashion waste by all FF companies that are struggling to trump each other, or do we talk about oil & gas companies?

@slenchy@michaelevknight Extend it to any number of natural relationships, I think the point still stands. While I think Capitalism is the most meritocratic system we have available to us, there's a lot of problems with it esp that it encourages greed. And that will never be in tune with nature.
