No. They deserve nothing in return. The people who enslaved and the people who were enslaved are dead. Nobody commenting on this lived it. Modern Western Black Americans were not on those ships and were not on those plantations. A story about 1865 is not an invoice in 2026. The American chapter was also the small one. African kingdoms captured and sold the captives. Arab and trans-Saharan traders ran the longer market, roughly 10 to 18 million people over 13 centuries. The Atlantic trade moved about 12.5 million. The future United States received under 400,000, about 3 percent. If descendants collect, they do not start with the country that took the smallest share and ended it with a war. They start with the sellers and the longer buyers. This graphic skips both.

@joel3000 @827js No. If you switch every race in the story, the answer does not switch with it. Masked, armed, first shot, his ground. That is justified whether the man in the yard is Black or white and whether the three who rolled up are Black or white.

Justified. Protecting your family and your ground is not a right the state created. It is a duty. A responsibility. A right given by God. Common sense had it before any government wrote it down. If you think this case is not justified, say why. Start with the masks, the guns, and the fact that one of them fired first.

I assumed the clip was real. I was wrong. I said that already. Nobody knows everything. The people who pretend they do usually know the least. I was not talking about this carnival act. I was talking about people who actually fake a disability and collect the money. Those people are very real. They exist. The numbers exist. In this climate you cannot always tell an act from the real thing, and crazier events than this have happened and been recorded, which is why I assumed wrong on the video. Fighting that now would be dumb. I am not fighting it. The people who actually do it are terrible. They deserve the consequences. That was the original point. Taking money meant for people with real disabilities is theft. If you think that is dumb, that says more about your character than mine. You skipped the admission so you could keep the insult. That is not a win. Good luck in life. You are going to need it.

You restated three things I already granted. I said I did not know it was staged. That line is still sitting there. You skipped it and decided I was triggered. The point was never that this specific performer collects disability money. The point was anyone who does should pay it back. You treated that like an attack on your scene. I was not aware this was a staged act. You already knew that and still went with “you people are as dumb as you look.” That was not a correction. That was you covering for a crowd you like. The point was simple. Anyone collecting disability money they do not need should pay it back. You heard that as an attack on your scene. Of course you did. Appreciate the context. If it was a carnival act, no issue with the performance itself. The statement still stands. Anyone who uses a wheelchair as a costume piece while collecting disability money they do not need should pay it back and face consequences. Principle does not change because the setting was loud.
